Seigi no Mikata - 02
Oh
my god a lot of stuff happened this week O_O;. I’m surprised the way the story is going but I guess that’s good as it makes the drama less boring and predictable. Also I’m curious do you guys want to see summaries or just an impression since I’m blogging this show like 2 days later than when it airs. So anyway this week Makiko continues to be a slave driver on Youko and forcing her to stalk Yoshikawa-san.
So basically Youko realizes 1 thing: If she gets her sister to fall in love and marry, the bitch will finally be out of the house and Youko will be free. I swear Japanese must have some sort of loyalty to their families cause if someone related to me asked me to do that….oooh my god the rage that will be spawned from my side.
Anyway Youko tries multiple attempts to get her sister and Yoshikawa together.
A lot of those attempts appear like they fail because stuff happens that makes Makiko pissed off and show her “true” colors. Instead however, Yoshikawa sees it from another point of view and totally falls head over heels for her. In addition, when she poisons her boss’ tea and forces him to go to the hospital (just to get him out of her hair), she is then praised by his wife because the doctors discovered another disease within him (A tumor perhaps?) and did an operation to remove it. Had she not forced him to go he could have died.
So once again she is praised for doing shit in response to things that piss her off. Really she has some kind of dumb luck going for. Meanwhile back at the ranch, Youko’s dad’s birthday is coming up and what does her mom think of? A mea sale.
I can definitely see where the bitch blood comes from in this family. During the birthday, Makiko leaves to go on a date with Yoshikawa and then Youko runs out to stop it because she feels sorry for the nice guy.
Unfortunately when she gets there instead of stopping it, she tells him “take care of my sister” and then says to herself perhaps some of her sisters black blood is flowing within her.
Finally on the way home after school Youko gets bitchslapped by some jealous ho who claims that the guy that always talks to Youko is her boyfriend. She’s all like “don’t come near my boyfriend he’s mine!” Meow! Youko’s like “huh?” ^^; That will be resolved next week.
Upcoming Attractions: I really couldn’t tell what’s going on but seems like a lot of stuff is gonna happen.

I don’t know about the other readers (is anyone interested in this show?) I’d rather you put down impressions. So much more enjoyable to read by a long-shot! Oh and the highlights this episode would have to be the beach cleaning scene and the concert. Makiko’s such a slob and poor Kumako
I agree with Ivy. You should only put down your impressions. But as long as it’s filled with rage when something pisses you off or lulz when something is funny, I’ll be a happy reader.
Aaaanyway, gawd I don’t know how Youko hasn’t told Makiko to go to hell, even if she is your sister that doesn’t mean you have to be her slave.
If she wants something then get something back, and if she doesn’t pay up, then beat her up.
alrighty I’ll try that next week
Another vote for impressions….be less work for you and more entertaining for us lol.
Well, I’m reading, I just don’t know what to say. Your drama impressions are always funny, so yeah…
If you must do impressions, then do your best Christopher Walken.
I think the way you describe the episode is just fine….. do it whatever way ya’ like
and thanx
so far I think its a cute drama
I’m really interested in this drama.
I want to watch it so bad, but it’s new and no one subs it.
At firs tI thought it sounded kind of stupid, but now I think it’s really interesting. Thanks to your review of it.
Hope you do more~!
xRomance, there are two groups subbing this, like here:
http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_63488.htm
AND
http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_63388.htm
so… yeah, there are subbers.
xRomance: It is being subbed as a torrent at d-addicts (1-3 avai. right now)
As to imotou being tormented by onisan…even forgetting about Japanese culture, if you have been raised all your life to be afraid of your sibling, and your parents just laughed, thinking it was cute..you would feel, and possibly act just like Youko.
The familial bonds and cultural hierarchy in Japanese society makes it even more difficult to break free.
Just watch all the Japanese dramas and films concerning school bullying.
Why do the victims keep it to themselves and sometimes commit suicide rather that be “shamed” by reporting the incidents…
Teens in Japan can try to be non-conformist by innocently dressing up on a Sunday in Harajuku, but for the other 6 days of the week, they look and act like everyone else..You won’t find the goth, or trench-coat mafia in the Japanese classroom (at least visibly)
Japon> Quoted for truth. Well said about the sad but true state of Japanese society.
