Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - 01

what my fanservice loving friends thought, I actually enjoyed this show. Perhaps it was the lack of huge cow hooters or the lack of crotch shots that made it pleasant to watch. Sure it had 2 big whores living with the male lead, but at least he doesn’t let them stick their vagoos into his face every 5 minutes and in fact he acknowledges them as being big ol’ dirty whores. 
Also the whore with the black hair is totally a drunk Misato wannabe. I mean I coulda sworn they purposely did that Misato animation just to be ironic. It’s also fun watching this show to catch all the “easter eggs” (like WonderFes and whatnot.) It reminds me of how when I was watching NHK ni Youkoso and well frankly it’s just fun to relate. For once I also don’t mind Mamiko Noto’s voice and at least she’s not playing a rapeable shota.
Yes it’s generic, yes it’s predictable but I still think it was fun. Even though I haven’t blogged romantic comedies in a while, it was mostly because the recent surge of romantic comedies also came with an overabundance of tits and ass on the side. At least the “fanservice” was kept to a minor note or maybe I’m just thinking of Suckyrei, To Love Poo and Kanorape in comparison. Also in the opening there was blushing and kissing so I imagine the ending will be win (at least for me.)

Yea, I’m pretty sure this show will be more lovcom and less fanservice, which I actually appreciate. It’s just the generic set up that makes me wonder if this will only be mediocre, or turn out to be rather good. I think we’ll have to wait for the next episode.
Pfft. Just you wait until the other 15 females from the OP show up to drape themselves all over the lead. ^^
I had low expectations for this show, but this made me think it’s not going to be as bad as I thought it would be.

Hinano does enjoy slice of life… As long as it comes with the premise of “please~~ be gentle~~” by the end of the show. Or mid-season. >_>
Last I remembered Hecate wasn’t considered rapeable shota in her list of rapeable shotas. >_>
I’m so glad that Mamiko Noto is actually playing a girl and not a shota. That is one reason I never watched Kanokon, besides the borderline porno fanservice. Honestly, I couldn’t watch more than 5 minutes of it.
But I’m curious to see how Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is.

You never cease to amaze me. Why didn’t pick up Ikkitousen when it was all the rage, and posted all over the net last year?
I’m not a prude, but I have a limit of how much chichi’s I can handle, and this was too much. There was another one I can’t recall at the moment, but it’s just as bad. Kamen No Maid Guy is enough for this summer.
Plus, I don’t want to get all up in your business, Hinano, but how long has your blog had crab?
For some reason, the animation drawing of Nogizaka Haruka sorta reminds me of Koto Hoshino “Mikorayer” from Cosmopolitan Prayers, except the drawing was slightly different from Haruka’s, as well as Koto’s seiyuu, Miyu Matsuki.

yes.. agree this is a fun anime to watch
for me.. abit of boobs and pantsu scene is fine… for the sake of comedy.. but too much will spoil every thing!! 
i love the idea of the lead female being the otaku instead of the normal male lead being it… something new for a change rite???

Gonna watch this later when I get home from work. I read a little of the manga and despite the fanservice, I found it really sweet
Gonna watch a few more episodes and see if this I’ll stick to this show till the end of Summer XD

Although the ending theme kinda gave me that “blatant Hare Hare Yukai ripoff” vibe…
They cannot draw ccs and clothes properly in sexirei. I mean… even big CCs will not cause clothes to dip in between. If I want oppai, I just want Pure H instead of wannabe teasers.
The fanservice was low and it was okay but I am not sure whether I will be able to follow this show until the end. Boredom might just kill me.

I thought it was a fun show. I also liked how they had the male lead acting. He seemed pretty confident in himself, he didn’t really whine about how things were going, he was a nice guy, and he was neither a complete nobody nor some impossibly gifted at everything uber-bishonen. There’s also something to be said for establishing a relationship immediately and telling the story of how it grows and how other people react to it.

Anyway its based on a light novel series and since its not being done by J.C.Failure at least we can hope for turning out something decent.
