Itazura na Kiss - 13
Don’t get so excited guys, this is just the last 60 seconds of the episode. The actual rain scene is next week. 
Man Kin-chan lost some major points this week. I always thought of him as that annoying guy but now he’s a freaking rapist in training! “I’ll make you forget him.” WTF, I’ll make you forget you have a nutsack *kicks*. 
So basically Chris comes to Kotoko’s university and then Naoki decides it’s a great idea to introduce her to his mom. His mom of course is enraged because she wants him to marry Kotoko.
Throughout the episode Kotoko begins to think that she really should just give up and maybe give Kin-chan a chance. In the meantime Naoki’s mom is incredibly upset and he just yells at her telling her to butt out of his life. Kotoko tries to make peace by saying it doesn’t bother her even though it really does. Her dad also suggests that they leave the Irie house for good because things aren’t going her way. At one point in the episode while Naoki’s mom is visiting his dad in the hospital, Yuki shows up and says that Naoki really likes Kotoko.
We then get a flash back to this:
LOL DAMNIT GUYS I THOUGHT SHE KISSED SOME RANDOM CASSANOVA 
BAH!
So yea turns out he really does like her and this is confirmed when at school he visits the tennis club. While he’s talking to Yuko he runs into Kotoko’s friends. He overhears them saying how Kin-chan proposed to her. He’s so shocked that he runs to find her. In the meantime, Kotoko escape’s Kin-chan’s attempt at rape and runs home thinking she will carry her one sided love to her grave. 
And it raining and wet and she runs into Naoki. Haha sorry rain scene next week! Also there’s a new ending theme this week featuring that insert song from a few episodes ago. There’s a lot of mushy romantic scenes of Naoki and Kotoko which probably means the turning point in their relationship is coming full speed ahead.

LOL I was thinking that it was Naoki kissing her at first, but I started doubting it more and more cuz he was acting like such a dickhead. I was beginning to think it was Yuki or like you said some dog or a stranger, so…This was a surprise. lol
omg Annoying idiot to stalking rapist! Unfortunate transformation.

I figured it wouldn’t be this episode. Have to build up the angst first.
Hee hee! Now you know the culprit! And yes, there are nothing but good things to come after this. *can’t wait for next week*
Yay!!!! Finally!!! The rain scene. Absolute favorite to me. At least in the taiwanese drama it was really good.

I wanna see it soon…I really like Itazura na Kiss, it’s a show i really enjoy while seeing and when i see the Ed starting i think ” Wha? But i just started watching it a while ago, and it ended already?

That was the point: to keep you thinking that it was someone else when it was all just Naoki with that kiss!
It makes everything seem even better. And isn’t it funny how people never seem to go for the completely obvious choice because they think it’s unlikely. xD
^^ And it’s nice to see Naoki the one chasing for a change. Yay for the shoujo love! It’s so awesome to see every manga scene I really liked animated.
And who cares if the ED is mushy.

I knew there was a deeper reason for my dislike towards Kin-chan.
Why do almost all men, in anime, turn to rape when they see the impossibility of their unrequited love developing into mutual attraction? And why is it always “I’ll make you forget about him”? Of course she is going to forget about him, at least for a while, while she gets over the fact that you raped her you stupid idiot.
Anyway, finally a development on their relationship, now I’m really looking forward to the rain scene.

It looks like the animation A-team was on hand for this episode.
Which confuses me a little cause judging by the preview the art looks less . . . . up to snuff in the next episode. You’d think they’d pull out all the stops for the big rain scene.
OH! thank god, and I thought Yuuki was the one that kissed her … which is really freaky.

Actually there’s a plot point in the manga that the anime skipped (or hasn’t gotten to yet, my timeline is fuzzy), where Kotoko sets up Yuuki with a ditzy girl at his school. So they basically become Naoki and Kotoko v.2.0.

lol All of the previous comments about Itazura na Kiss’ resident rapist made me laugh sooo hard XD but fo real, I agree, that definitely was not his shining moment.. Anywayyy, besides that, I was sooo delighted with this episode! For the people that thought Yuuki kissed Kototo..?

Everyone keeps talking about this rain scene- I hope it’s not being played up as something much better than it actually is. I think at this point I’m expecting something really great >.>
Ya, I was really disappointed at Kin-chan. I actually like his attempt to keep trying and trying, but his character took a total beating with his attempted rape. I felt total disgust for him.

I am a huge nostalgic and even though I pretty much watch any and evry single ‘type’ of anime/manga, ‘classic’ shoujo really have a special place in my preferences ^^
I was worried at first when I learned there would only be 26 episode to cover the 20+ books, but truth is it’s coming up very nicely and without even being rushed nor anything!
Today’s episode was really really AAAWWWWW *can’t find words*
The new ending song and, well, the ending itself, are pretty good ^^
@hmm : I don’t really know if that rain scene will be as good as you imagine, since it pretty much depends on how much expectation you have on it, your own taste and how the producers of the anime made it…But one thing is absolutely sure: it’s a turning point in their relationship and the first time Naoki will openly show love toward her, without sarcasm or interruption.
Man this is really progressing fast. The Rain Scene was in vol. 10 of the manga…
