Special A - 13
It’s a miracle! I actually laughed in this episode, and more than once! 
This week is the first part of the Akira x Tadashi getting together arc. (Well at least one pairing in this show is moving faster than a sack of potatoes.) It features the SA gang being in the classroom of their “common folk” classmates for 3 days. Naturally they’re either incredibly idolized or incredibly hated due to jealousy. The problem occurs with Akira when one of the girls in her class reminds her of her childhood friend.
She had some childhood trauma when Yahiro was a possessive fuck (which he still kinda is) and basically threatened to ruin the lives of anyone who tried to befriend Akira. So when one day she friended a girl named Sayo, who didn’t know about Yahiro, later on that girl hated Akira because Yahiro screwed her over. Kei kinda knew about this too which is why he told Akira not to worry about the past. Also, loliAkira was so much cuter with long hair. The short hair is so fugly on her 
But yea the episode basically ends where stalker Yahiro gets the list of people in Akira’s “class” and is like “hey there’s a girl who looks like the childhood friend that I screwed over, time for friendship fuckup part 2″ 
In other news this week SA has a new OP and ED sequence. The OP is sung by the male seiyuus (at least I heard Tadashi’s voice in there) so I don’t have to hear Goto Yuko’s horrible singing anymore. I think the new ending is sung by the female seiyuus but since they sing in a chorus it’s not so bad (similarly to Hare Hare Yuukai). She’s ok when she’s like a background/chorus vocal but give her a lead song and she sounds no better than Mikuru’s Densetsu.

tadashixakira and the SA in an actual classroom, perhaps they might actually learn something ya know like from an actual teacher
but in all serious a break from hikarixkei is welcomed and hoped to be thoroughly enjoyed.
Thankfully from now on, the rest of the episodes are going to be like this one, and the past two.
And yeah it was a good episode and it was the first episode where I didn’t dislike Akira and she definitely looked better with the long hair.
And also, finally things are moving along with one of the pairings and thank gawd that ugly as sin “make my ears bleed”, song is no longer the opening, I actually smiled when I didn’t hear it.

I just watched the new opening on YouTube. Way better for the ears. I have to admit, though: what the frick? Is it me, or do I see Sailor Moon references in the theme song? Ha, ha. At the beginning, Kei is doing the whole “hands over the locket” pose. At the end, everyone puts their hands together like they’re going to do Planet Teleport or whatever the frick it’s called. Lol.
Wait, I thought Yahiro did all that stuff to Sayo because she was back stabbing Akira or something like that. Did they change that or has Viz screwed me over?
Any way I love the news songs! But I don’t know what to think of the OP. It did have a lot of Kei (Kei is lurve.>
Yahiro’s motivations aren’t discussed until a bit later. Right now he’s still a possessive hateful bastard.
OMG, u almost made me pick this show up again when you said it was TadashiXAkira… But you only mention Akira in the post, so nyeh. *goes to listen to this new OP and hope ears don’t bleed*
Lol I was sooooo glad when i heard there was a new OP i actually sat there and listened to it!!!! Lol I agree with the whole, do they actually do school work thing, if only it was that easy ae!
This was a cool episode, I dont know much about the manga but meh, im enjoying myself watching this!!!

And yes, I agree.. Akira looks better with long hair but I don’t think her short hair is that bad.. :3

Well, I actually think that the OP AND ED are actually tolerable. Nothing of great class, but I do not have to go on MUTE and fast forward it until I get to the show proper. YES, that’s how much I hate the previous OP. Thank god they removed it from my sight.
I actually think that SA is getting much funnier lately. From Episode 10, it actually goes on a rather good upscale. ^^

though i like that part where Hikari and Akira in SD
