Soul Eater - 13
Don’t worry guys, it’s just a lovers quarrel. 
I expected this arc to be stretched out to 2 episodes but surprisingly they fit it all into one. It makes me wonder if there’s going to be fillers ahead at the pace they’re going?? I hope they’re good fillers as the only good fillers I’ve seen to date were from Genshiken II. If you haven’t read the manga this episode basically features Soul & Maka’s souls being far apart from each other and making them unable to fight together.
However near the end Soul gives into the little demon and requests him for power, but still manages to control himself. Also thanks to Tsubaki yelling at them the two of them finally do a successfull Majo Gari and defeat the idiot wolf man. (Man his idiocy was a lot more apparent in the anime lol.) Also I coulda sworn Maka actually used Tsubaki as a weapon at some point in the fight but maybe to save time they cut it out? I can’t recall. Anyway Soul promising to make Maka dinner is full of win.

It was the best part of the fight too…
I’m like SoulxMaka a lot, but this episode just made me like them even more. They’re definitely my favorite pairing… well actually the only one.
I can’t wait for the next episode ’cause it shows that Patty is not only dumb but also a freaking psychopath.

I don’t think the dance scene was in the test chapter, are you talking about the next NEXT one?
I’m hoping the maka and tsubaki part would be in the “uncut” version. But that’s being ridulously optimistic, since 1. there’s no reason to cut it 2. There isn’t any thing new of importance in the uncuts.

Scheris and lily> No the dance scene isnt next week. I just said, “i like the dance scene” which basically happens during the Maka fighting Chrona part 2 arc.
shiro> I doubt it as up until now the “late night” show has been nothing but recycled footage with some made up dialogue rather than actual “uncut” scenes. Maybe in the DVD version? or maybe BONES just wants to remove all the violence & nudidity from the show

Oh god I loved this episode. This anime is a bit odd, but awesome so far… hehehe the SoulxMaka pairing is great. I can’t wait until the next episode comes out =)
