Junjou Romantica - 12 (Finale)

With absolutely no real conclusion, here’s the end of our BL anime of the season.

That’s it gals there’s no more. This is the last episode. There’s nothing on the official site about a continued broadcast and a Japanese tv schedule site confirms 12 as the last episode. This episode basically was another Misaki x Usami story. It featured Misaki being frustrated that Usami got an award for his non BL book but Misaki had no idea about it at all. He then flipped out on Usami telling him that he deserves to know more about him, as his LOVER. :twisted:

Haha well that was a wrong (or right?) move on his part because Usami told him everything. And by everything, us non manga readers only heard that “he has a brother named Haruhiko who he doesn’t get along with as with the rest of his family.” After that they had an erotic (and when I say erotic I mean there was saliva!) kiss and then Misaki wanted to be the seme. But since he’s a total uke, he failed and got ukefied by Usami again. :P

In the end, Usami wants to re-enact his BL novels with Misaki. They even show parts of the Junjou Romantica manga. :lol: That’s baaasically it. I know there’s another show with BL in it (Antique Bakery) that comes out this summer but I have no interest in it. I watched the drama a couple years ago and it just bored me to tears. Hope you gals (and guys maybe? :twisted: ) enjoyed the bloggage.

    I can’t believe you passed up Monochrome Factor for this. :razz:

    I read about this, and feel like I’ve watched it from reading your posts. but it was a little too much for me. Winter Cicada was enough BL, BS, whatever you call it.

    I like my gays subtle and violent. Like Sauske. :)

    Aww, don’t pass up Antique Bakery based on the fact that the drama of it was bad - the drama took a LOT of liberties with the story (the most well-known of which was, obviously, the deletion of the homosexual leanings of one of the main characters). I’m not saying you’ll love it or anything, but don’t write it off completely.

    Awww, it’s over? I really don’t care about the series being done but I do about the blogging being over. :twisted:
    On the other hand maybe now I can forget that I read the manga. :shock:

    Oh well it was great reading your posts on this… but now how am I supposed to get my weekly dose of LOLs? :sad: j/k

    This sucks. I’m going to give the Drama CDs another run before I throw a fit. At least I can console myself with Antique Bakery.

    Actually, I don’t think it’s over. There probably setting up for the second half of the season. Or Second season if you will. If it was suppose to be 24 episodes at first, then my guess is that there gonna stick to that. One way, or another… :cool:

    Someone said that this was just the end of the first season, but dunno. :roll: Maybe there’ll be another season. :lol: I don’t really care. I’m not into BL, but just letting you know.

    For those who want to believe there’s a 2nd season, find a backup and proof of your assumption then come back and let me know your source. I don’t know who started this rumor but I have not seen any proof that it’s true. Even MoonPhase doesn’t list it in their upcoming shows list. Please get with the program before you get anyone’s hopes up :mad:

    BTW the drama of antique bakery was an abomination, because they changed almost EVERYTHING in the manga :evil:

    Awww… I want moooooarrrr! At the start everyone was all :Junjou Romantica has 26 episodes and I was soo looking forward to it.
    I hope there will be another season to it… or that I find some scanlations. No way I can get real manga here (postage fees are a bitch).

    I started watching Junjou Romantica believing it had 24 episodes, but now I’ll just give up on that particular hope. :sad: I’m just happy that it was around to brighten up my day every time the subs came out. :smile: Can’t wait for the 12th ep to be subbed now. :lol: Thanks for the reviews each week, Hinano! I absolutely loved reading them. :wink:

    omg :wink: misaki totally acted like a girl in this episode! Of course there’s more Junjou! If there weren’t, then DEEN Studio will be facing MILLIONS of angry willing to murder fangirls…. :shock: I’d be one as well :twisted:

    No but seriously, I think when your with Usagi-san, your pretty much screwed, and in misaki’s case, that’s a given :oops: :razz: :wink: :twisted:

    According to wikipedia, it was signed as a 24-episodes long series, so I’m guessing it’s just a season end-er. I want to see Usagi blow over Haruhiko. -_- Let it not be the end.

    Acutally it isn’t the finale episode, what they’ve planned to do is have ep 12 as a season end and then replay the season theeeeen they’re gonna start season two :D can’t wait

    :neutral: Actually…. there are 26 eps. It’s not over. Their just taking a season break, because they have been working back to back every week to heir new eps. Second Season will begin sometime in October.

    Actually, 12 is not the end. From what i hear the anime will be 24 episodes long, with a season break in the middle. The anime will continue later this year with episodes 13-24. At least we’ll have Antique bakery to keep us occupied till then. :twisted:

    Episode 12 is not the end :shock: It’s just the last episode of this couple. There are actually 22 episodes. Junjou Romantica is actually going on a season break, so they won’t broadcast a new episode in a while :sad:

    well…. aarinfantasy says that buying the original DVD will encourage the release of the next season… but even if it’s not true (i don’t think so) i can’t find the DVD….. :cry:

    I tried to tell to the people in many ways that it’s not confirmed a second season of JR but the fangirl’s power is superior to my reasons :mad:
    And I don’t know too who started that stupid rumor of “This show will come back like Vampire Knight which cut the whole 26 episodes in two seasons of 13, of course JR will do the same!” Even in wikipedia says so, it makes mad :cry: oh well… I enjoyed this and continue with the manga.
