Special A - 12
Whooaa I don’t remember if or when this was supposed to happen but \0/ none the less! 
As I watched this episode all I could think to myself was “wow Hikari could potentially rival Kotoko from ItaKiss in most idiotic girl.” The big difference is Hikari at least has her strength and grades going for her while Kotoko pretty much fails in every aspect. 
So after abducting Hikari in a helicopter Kei got sick while trying to compare the two of them to some old time English movie (JP said it was from Casablanca.)
She of course decided it was a brilliant idea to make him food with her failing cooking skills. Not only did she make him lava soup but she also tripped over like a bumbling idiot and spilled it all over the place. (LOL @ “my raburi oniichan~” from Sui 
) Baasically the whole episode entaled Hikari & Kei getting all close together. (Hell she even got to strip him until they were cockblocked.)
Overall a cute episode and the slow turning of the wheels in Kei and Hikari’s relationship. Don’t give up readers, at the pace they’re going I’m sure by the time we’re in at episode 16 there will be some major progress. (Or so I hope anyway.) Next week the camera turns back on Akira and her past with Yahiro.

For me the only difference is that Hikari is definitely an idiot savant.
Finally there’s some progress in their relationship, and finally I didn’t get annoyed at Hikari. I hope the rest of the episodes are like this, if not better.

I view Hikari as less idiotic and more naive. I have anime only knowledge, so bear with me, she was an exceptionally gifted little girl, incomparable to any other boy or girl and was then quickly defeated in a wrestling match by Kei.
Since then she’s had one sole purpose; succeed Kei! She’s got her blinders on and is plowing ahead, steadily on course. Then here he comes acting all weird.
It’s not so much that she’s dimwitted (although that is a plentiful plot device), but that she has no reason to believe their relationship has changed.
I had a friendship with a guy that liked me and I simply thought we were friends, then he started acting like a jerk to my other friends. It was a while later until I realized it was jealousy. I didn’t expect that of him, he was just a friend, but he saw me as more.
For further reference I recommend the Biz Markie song “Just a Friend” or Crystal Kay’s “Kataomoi.” I know that means unrequited love, but it’s just a good song.
I’m loving the pace of this anime, and it pays not knowing what’s ahead. And I hope it ends well and in less than 12 years.

Although seeing how the manga is still going we’re slated for a random filler ending with Yahiro being the big bad wolf most likely. 
Fangirl inside of me is happy today.
All I need now is Shugo Chara to give me some Amuto and I could die happy.
oh wow! with the exception of the last episode (the hikari and tadashi date), i really only like to watch hikari and kei episodes because others episodes and SA episodes are just too retarded.
I’m actually the exact opposite. The Hikari and Kei development bores me and the only reason I’m still watching this series is because the other SA members have finally gained some personality rather than staying merely background noise. For instance I really enjoyed the Ryuu and Tadashi episodes, two characters who in just one episode have proven themselves to be infinitely more likable than either Hikari or Takashima. I also can’t wait to see more of the whole complicated past love thing Akira has going on. I dunno I think I’ve just watched too many anime romances where guy likes girl and girl is as thick as board, that I’m just completely over the whole plot device. They’re not doing anything new with it either which makes it worse. It’s just the same song and dance game sadly
kakoiishi> I actually liked the other chars in the manga but I feel they’re poorly portrayed in the anime. Especially Akira - she just gets on my nerves in the anime. I wanna be like DUDE STFU and GTFO already =_=;;; Maybe that’s why I’ve put up with HIkari & Kei, they no longer annoy me as much as some of the other cast.
Y’know, watching and reading this part, I always wonder: Why does nobody slip him some tylenol or ibprofen or something?
Cute! Yay for Kei x Hikari! I think I’m probably in the minority who actually enjoys watching SA *hides from flying tomatoes* and I’m not sure if I should be ashamed of that fact or what… xDD
I agree with you that Hikari and Kotoko are kinda similar in terms of “slowness”. Like Sabrina-Fair, I think Hikari is far less idiotic than Kotoko, and I see Hikari more as being totally naive rather than being idiotic. I initially saw similarities between Kei and Irie too, but I think Irie is more obnoxious.
LOL, I thought I was the only one is annoyed by Akira in the anime. But I’m kinda looking forward to her backstory with Yahiro and Kei. ^_^

I think I have a pretty good idea of where they’ll choose to end it at 24 episodes. It’s too bad, because if I’m right, we’ll never get to meet Iori. Oh well, I guess his appearance was only good because it mixed things up a little anyway. I think the anime will end before things get that boring.
