And so this week concluds the Tsubaki vs Masamune battle. It was pretty excitingu and action packed and it was great seeing BONES do this adaptation. The only thing that disappointed me was when Black Star said “I’ll KILL YOU” (in reference to the kid wanting to smack Tsubaki), it seemed more impactful in the manga. Maybe because Black Star’s seiyuu is so god damn annoying. :mad:

And while I’m not really a Tsubaki x Black Star shipper (because he’s such an idiot) I still find this scene to be really cute:

Black Star takes cockblocking very seriously. :twisted:

Anyway nice episode overall. I loved Tsubaki’s “I have a fragrance too!” thing. :)

Upcoming Attractions: Soul makes a deal with the devil while Medusa gathers her witch army.

    Well Black Star’s seiyuu is perfect for him, annoying voice for an annoying character. But I do agree that the way it was shown in the manga had more impact. :oops:
    I loled at Stein, Kid, Patty and Liz eating their obento as if nothing were happening. :twisted:

    humm.. i kinda not like the idea of making gals go all bloody in a fight… :cry: specially the good looking ones :cry: but black star taking all the bashing while waiting for tsubaki seems to have redeem abit of his annoment from me :smile: hahaha :razz: gogo black star X Tsubaki

    I think you simply just dislike Black Star. :P

    I’m loving the pace of the anime so far. It’s better paced than the good ole days of Naruto. Makes me wonder if there will be fillers or how the show will end.

    As much as I love Tsubaki, I’m ready to get back to Soul, Maka, & Kid. :)

    I was so happy to see the blood done in red in this - they haven’t shirked the red-colored blood yet, but it still makes me happy every time I see that they aren’t censoring it.

    did you know that soul eater vol 1 is coming out in english in the end of 2009?
