Naruto Ch. 404
Looks like Madara is the Mizukage. Who coulda seen THAT one coming! Wait why doesn’t Suigetsu know this guy? LOL. Oh yes I forgot, because he’s too busy trying to surprise buttsecks Kisame to care about anything else.
Finally Naruto finds out. Too bad we won’t see his reaction until next week. I expect tears and angst. (Well as long as he’s angsting about someone other than Saucy I suppose that’s ok.)
JUST AS KEIKAKU Madara’s got Sasuke eating from his hand like a hungry pigeon. I love love Sasuke’s great plan to destroy Konoha: I’m gonna destroy the elders. Uh okay, that would just be like 2 old farts and Tsunade…except then you gotta deal with like the rest of Konoha and your butt buddy Naruto. And now Akatsuki and “Falcon” (or Eagle or whatever the hell the translators wanna settle on) are gonna join forces. Umm where is Pain and his Brady Bunch clones? Did they drop off the face of the earth after Jiraiya died?

Well…at least Naruto got some page time…for like 5 or so pages. - ___ -;;
I miss the days when we didn’t have to go through volumes of Uchiha angst and such.
And apparently Sakura and the others are still alive!
I thought they all died from the weight of the angst thats been going around.

*sigh* The development in this series is like bad fanfiction.
That said, this wasn’t a bad chapter, all told. Seriously, whenever we veer off the stupid Uchiha house of angst it’s not that bad.
And I won’t mind in the least if Naruto has a breakdown over Jiraiya. Jiraiya is worth crying over, because he was an awesome character who knew what was important.
I hope this utter crap is signalling the end for Naruto..-_- If Sasugay doesn’t die at the end I’ll be pissed off. And Jiraiya was awesome. Why does Kishimoto kill off all the good characters?

Well I thought something was up with Mist, since it kept getting mentioned a lot. I mean Zabuza, Kisame and Suigetsu are all from Mist and didn’t Pein say he had killed one of their Mizukage’s?
So its nice to finally find out why it kept getting brought up, now we know!
I’m happy there was more Naruto in it this week. Frankly, considering he found out Jiraiya died, I’d have been happier with them focusing on that and giving us a whole chapter of Naruto.
The Sasuke-baka stuff could have waited til next week. Of course if he ended up doing that then we’d probably end up with another issue of Uchiha angst.
I understand why he spent so much time on Sasuke-baka, its just it started to get a bit old.
Glad to see he’s not hell bent on destroying the whole village. But its not like al the nin are just goin to let him waltz in and kill them now.
I personally am really looking forward to Taka or whatever the hell they are, getting their butts handed to them. Hopefully their leader (yes you Sasuke-baka) will get the biggest whupping of all!
It’s just sad how easily Sasuke is manipulated by every Uchiha he seems to come across.

I don’t know why but it felt like less content. I read through this and was surprised that it ended, and was the usual amount of pages. It is moving so slowly… I agree that this is starting to sound like very bad fan fiction. I have read fan fiction which I found more interesting and flowed better at this point.
I think you’ll all be proven wrong and Sasuke will realize he wasn’t tricked at all and is actually helping Konoha just to be like his brother. C’mon, he is just giving Madara what Maradara wants to hear; otherwise this whole do why my loving brother tried to prevent thing makes no sense.
I was kinda confused by the Mizukage thing, especially after that Pein arc. And if you think Naruto is sad, what about poor Kakashi? He’s barely even in the series anymore, and now he has nothing to fap to, I mean read.
BTW, if Suigetsu is like water… couldn’t Kisame just breate Suigetsu in through his gills for oxygen?

I’d agree with you about Saucy “fooling his allies” but he’s so emo and has not changed at all that I doubt he’s smarter than Madara thinks. Also, if he sides with Konoha, so much for the ultimate battle with Naruto right?

Even if Sasuke is just pretending to go along with Madara, it’s STILL just one of the predictable paths he could take. There’s tons of people predicting exactly that. It would be nice if he was, but I have little hope. And, again, it’s still predictable.
Series like this just make One Piece look that much more awesome. Right now NOBODY has any clue as what’s going to happen in OP, and nothing could be more thrilling.
Eh… for so many years this manga was the most satisfying one I was reading. Now it’s barely in the top 20. I’ve been reading Berserk longer than I care to remember and it rarely wavers, this is swan-diving into a waterless pool.
Maybe I’m just annoyed with it; but I’m hoping all this Uchiha angst can take a back seat to what will most likely be a lot of Naruto, Sakura, Kashi angst.
God help Tsunade… and her pig.
I didnt realize how much I liked Jiraiya until he got killed. Still a gaping hole in the story without him. And how long ago was that anyway, and Naruto is just finding out. Damn that’s bad. There is a discussion of other boards that Inuyasha is ending because of poor sales, maybe that’s what will speed up or end this one.
It’s becoming hard to stay interested.
Inu-Yasha is ending because it’s ABOUT DAMN TIME. I would think even Takahashi would want to move on to a new series by now.
Let’s hope she decides to stick to shorter stories from now on. Unlikely, but we can hope.
How fitting that 404, the error for page not found, be the chapter that I give up on Naruto. It’s gotten so unbelievably retarded. It joins Bleach, Hunter X Hunter and One Piece in “started good, got stupid.”
I’ll be over here reading stuff from Shounen Gangan. At least that publication has works I still like.
Well it’s exactly not headed in the direction we want it to go but I still feel compelled to finish the story.
One piece is still as awesome as ever though! =D
Hunter X Hunter is still better than naruto only that it’s always on hiatus. it’s sad that there are a couple of fanfiction out there that can give naruto a run for its money.
God…so sad that this manga got so damn insane so fast.
We need a volume that ACTUALLY features other characters that don’t have the last name Uchiha (god willing). I just want the huge battle to start already. We need some interesting action for once that doesn’t involve the ANGST MONSTER EATING AT THE SOULS OF ALL INVOLVED! And Sauske is being a little bitch (whats new there?). He can flip moods and beliefs like its a freaking light switch.
And One Piece and Bleach are still good because you’re left guessing whats going on. You can’t see the future plot from 10 blocks away.
Well one would hope there would be more focus on Naruto and the others now. If Kishimoto can get back to that I think it could get more fun to read again. We’ve spent so long on Sasuke-baka angst we need some lighthearted stuff.
Of course now Naruto’s learned of Jiraiya’s death that will be a while in coming too. Its going to make him really angry at Akatsuki and hopefully really pissed at Sasuke-baka when he finds out he’s teamed up with them.
It would be nice if Sasuke-baka was using the so called Uchiha intelligence that so far only Itachi seems to have used and is just playing Madara, we’ll see on that one. I don’t count Madara as an intelligent Uchiha, the man’s just a nutbar.
L-Chan, Takahashi does have another series in the works, the announcement will be at the end of the last chapter of InuYasha next week.
Is it sad when you want know more about the dead characters more than the live ones? I want to know more about Kushina and Minato more than Sasuke and his hardgay “Falcon” group (Falcon? Oh, am I supposed to cower in fear because it is a bird of prey? Oh noes! Save me, Save me, Kikashi! The name is so intimadating T_T) .
I just want Naruto and Sakura to hook up already
and become Hokage. Get this useless crap out of thy way! The thing that’s pissing me off the most about this manga is that it just seems that Kishimoto is pulling these plot twists out of his ass. 
Seriously, Tobi is Madara who by the way is Mizukaze and he’s actually the leader, not Pein or Pain, however the Metallica-poser is spelled.
On another note, I’m glad that Inuyasha is finally ending.
My sis and I would stay up real late on school nights just to watch it (until I got sick of the Naraku comes back for fxing number of times and moved onto Bleach). I think I kind of wasted my time by watching all of that filler crap (and precious, beautiful sleep! 
)
