Soul Eater - 10
No Soul/Maka
fangirling this week as this episode was strictly focused on Black Star and Tsubaki. We got a bit of a background on how a lot of villages hate Black Star’s family (Hoshizoku) because they raided villages and killed a lot of people. What I kinda wanted to see was the scene of when Tsubaki and Black Star first became partners. Maybe I’m jumping the gun and it’s next week (I can’t remember.) As I’m watching Black Star fight that guy who got possessed I’m like “Why can’t he be as cool outside of battles as he is INSIDE of battles?” It’s like he’s REALLY strong, but he’s too busy acting like a dumbass to make any use of it.
Too bad after this arc he goes back to being a moron again. Next week looks pretty promising.

OW MY BALLS
I second that though.
I think the flashbacks of when he and Tsubaki became partners happens in the next episode, while he stands guard over her.
Black Star’s fighting skills are pretty awesome, but his battles always start out with him acting moronic.
Poor Tsubaki.
By the way, what happened to Vampire Knight? Dropped it already?
Mika> NicoNico keeps deleting anime, no one posts the raw on Mondays anymore and no one uploads it to Veoh on time anymore either. Sometimes I’ll watch it on Tuesday but by then I really don’t care to blog about it. I’m also getting tired of all the angst now that I actually know what happens. I may end up dropping it, I’ll give it another few episodes.
Just remember, eventualy Black (Star) Star will take a turn towards emo and be that brooding anti-hero type… is that an improvement? Dunno yet….
Tsubaki wins the most patient weapon ever award…
Ahh I loved this episode partly for the balls shot partly partly for serious Black Star outside of fight “don’t push yourself after the fight I’ll hear you out”(or something to that effect) but mostly cause Tsubaki is freaking awesome. Also watching this reminded me that yontous mind screw their user, apparently whether they want to or not, which is probably why Black Star answers the “call of crazy” a thought that never crossed my mind intil hearing Tsubaki talk about Masumune’s possession power
