I got an email from Sasa-tan a few days ago about a movement against the ABC to promote collaborative work between female bloggers. At first I was like “lawl poor Owen” but when I read some of their topic suggestions I was like “you know this could be a pretty awesome idea.” It would also help bring out female bloggers from the woodwork as I know they’re around but some of them should really post more often So yea I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I don’t know if I’ll have any wild ideas to contribute because I feel like I’ve ranted about most things I could rant about but I’m definitely open to topic discussions if I have something to say - which is how it should be anyway. The topics seem like something that’s better discussed by a female blogger rather than a man trying to hide is wiener. Well it’s been a while but I actually liked this week’s episode! I quite enjoyed the Kei x Hikariness and having her blushing over the fact that Kei may like her. I also love Yahiro’s seiyuu. He’s voiced all those hot guys in my otome games….I heard him moaning!! LOL. Although I have to admit his happy voice is a little different from his usual “ronery emo bishie” voice (but it does come out through some of his lines since Yahiro is a pretty twisted character in general.) I know some readers here like Yahiro and Akira but I kinda like Akira paired up with Tadashi…and that’s what we’re gonna see next week. (Yahiro should just get with Megumi anyway >_>;)

This week was also great. The only thing I have beef with is how they made it seem that Blackstar left Tsubaki to be Soul’s partner, when in actuality they decided to “team up” when Kid arrived. It’s a minor thing but to anime only viewers it gives the impression that Blackstar doesn’t care about Tsubaki as much as he does. While trying to find a god damn upload of this episode, I ran into some videos of people playing the game. So I randomly clicked on one and less than a minute in, it occurred to me that Yume looks like she’s 12. I have to say I’ll give the props to the anime team for making everyone at least LOOK their age. The only character who I feel looks better in the game than the anime is probably Koko. I feel she looks kinda buff in the anime but cuter in the game. Yume looks 12 and everyone else’s head just looked incredibly deformed to me during the dialogue scenes. It was so revolting that any desire I had (which was low to begin with) to even try the game out pretty much jumped out the window. This week’s episode was only awesome because Jyuunichi ran us down memory lane of the original Da Capo and talked about “girls being able to read minds who sing well”, “a girl who loved bananas”, “the sisters who ate nabe” and “cats who turn into human girls”. Ahh thank you Jyuunichi, you’re the only thing saving this for me from the brink of total doom.

Blah so last week I was hoping that this week they’d dig deeper into stuff about Sakura’s past but the “aliens” basically wiped out all thoughts she had of it. Wait so what now? Are they gonna just throw it on the backburner until like episode 9 or something? The only pleasant surprise was that this week the first time Sakura was “wrong” but then was right the 2nd time. The sap story this week is the daughter killed her father because he left their mother when she was young. Also I LOLed at the alien otakus who threw water balloons at the lady because she wanted to cancel their little alien convention.

In other news, Sen no Kaze ni Natte is finally out of the top 50. Let’s hope it stays that way.
