SOS-Dan Sings NicoNico Memes
After seeing Seth’s post on the Mario version of Kumikyo I searched it on NicoNico. I found the original (which I earlier saw the single sung versions by fans of). You definitely think of yourself as some kind of niconico veteran if you can name at least 6 of the songs in this medley.

Anyway a bunch of people who sound like the cast of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu got together and sung their own version of the song. They also changed the lyrics which are pretty funny (especially Kyon’s “Why must I get killed!!?” xD)

Uh, this is older than the internet itself. I know I saw this last year and it’s based on a really old version of kumikyou. :v
This is far better and newer. nayuta is lol. As is this awesome one.
The Haruhi is that old video is also nayuta. She’s hilarious and likely very bored.
Yeah, it’s kinda sad that I know every single meme in this video.
I think the first one I saw was a newer one which is why I was confused why there was no Kishimen, or the Kirby Gourmet Race. Actually I really kept up with NicoNico earlier this year but then I sorta lost interest and didn’t really pay attention. Only thing I know about it anymore is from someone on my LJ friends list who posts stuff every day. Thanks for the links. I didn’t know about this nayuta person until now but she is a really good impersonator! I also saw a Kanipan version of these things before seeing the video I posted above.
Well, I have more time these days than I did earlier in the year and last year, so I’m browsing nico when bored much more often. I follow just about everything because I have too much spare time. Heh.
I think the only thing I actively search for on Nico now aside from anime when a torrent isn’t posted is カイミク or any Soul Eater tags. I used to search Neuro MADs last season but I’m not really into Neuro anymore. (Even though Neuro has a really GOOD collection of MADs lol)
Oh boy… I saw this a while ago…and I still needed to sit down and watch the whole thing again. It is so hilarious. XD
Listening to the Nico^2 medley never gets old no matter how many times I’ve heard it.
Too bad the more recent version which I’ve listened to wasn’t anywhere as good.
There are I think 4 or so major niconico medleys that have become popular, and of those my favorites are that 10-minute one and the 14-minute medley Link mentioned.
First time through Kumikyoku last year and it blew my mind that I know half the songs. I guess I’m into this meme thing too much (I’m listing it even).

What I actually did was sort by “most comments” when I searched Kumikyo and I think this was the 4th or 5th one….shows you the classics never die
Bluemist: There’s a new version of kumikyoku, with updated memes, out every few months by the same person. After the updated version’s released, there’s a flood of vocal versions and parodies by various, uh, illustrious users.
