A challenger appears!

I got an email from Sasa-tan a few days ago about a movement against the ABC to promote collaborative work between female bloggers. At first I was like “lawl poor Owen” but when I read some of their topic suggestions I was like “you know this could be a pretty awesome idea.” It would also help bring out female bloggers from the woodwork as I know they’re around but some of them should really post more often
So yea I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I don’t know if I’ll have any wild ideas to contribute because I feel like I’ve ranted about most things I could rant about but I’m definitely open to topic discussions if I have something to say - which is how it should be anyway. The topics seem like something that’s better discussed by a female blogger rather than a man trying to hide is wiener.
If you’d like to sign up (and from my understanding we have a lively bunch already) please visit Itsubun’s post as she’s the (WO)man behind it all.
P.S. No traps allowed. ![]()

How do bloggers prove they’re not traps? If there are pictures involved, please forward them to me. I think Anime Nano needs to know as well…
Oh Hung you loli pedobear
What if I want to be a little girl? Does that qualify in this sexy equation?
Quick! Tie down the women, they’re making a break for it!
Is that your cat? I remember seeing your cat on your blog once when you first moved over.
> P.S. No traps allowed.
Not even if I shave my legs?
Would this actually include some group projects or just a general coalition of chum-chummery? =p
What about reverse traps?
Taiyaki> no traps of any kind!
bakaneko> No sadly I don’t have any cats right now our apartment is too small. I kinda want one but if we wanna go on vacation or something I have no idea who will take care of it so I’m undecided right now
Nagato> Basically we’ll all write our thoughts on a chosen topic
I knew I should have continued passing off as a girl just like back in my MMORPG days. Then again, it would have been really difficult keeping my perversions in check without arousing suspicion.
Ah, that sounds interesting ^^ Too bad I sha’nt join, reason posted on Usagi’s entry.
ack, false alarm! It seems that Ashley still hasn’t confirmed her participation in this… but I do hope she’ll join in the fun! >_<
Nagato> I always knew you were a trap!
Shin> ooh boy you were one of those characters who all the guys gave items too right? LOLOL
jen> aww I hope she joins
I’m no trap! I haven’t even specified a gender yet. xP
So, how will the verification exercise of female bloggers go? I’m getting all sorts of funny images in my head here involving pictures at inappropriate angles. How would you know if someone got his sister to take a picture of herself?
uh-oh… Sat-chin’s imagination is running wild…
Just the other night, my imagination had one too many drinks, ran wild and had to be restrained, but not before it attempted to do things to Jen’s imagination, which I won’t mention here. True story.
It’s kind of hard to hide my sex after registering my domain as it is…x.x Previously, everyone thought I was a guy.
I like the idea of this because IRL, I know 2-3 other girls who like anime. It’s really only online that I’ve found a large number of sans-phallus anime fans. However, I don’t think I qualify - lack of blogging experience and amount of anime seen, for one. I know sex is really the only determining membership factor so far but I’m not sure I could effectively contribute.
@Caitlin: ehh, but this is all for fun! everyone’s ideas would be welcome, heck, it’s not even a requirement that you should post! Just… join in the ride, and perhaps somewhere along the way you’ll gain the passion to write or what. Being interested is enough! XD
and I am stealing Hinano’s author space lol.

Unless you’re planning a yuri scene, in which case I’m all for it
Demon> My steel boot would like to make a warm acquaintance with your balls
Jokes aside hopefully this will turn out to be an interesting project, after all the mans love reading female blogs from what I understand anyway.
…and Ashley finally hops on board!!
JUST AS KEIKAKU
You should launch the campaign to send men into the kitchen instead. And do all the housework.
Argh. Gonna get cooties.
ABC´s going down…
Digi> I already have that campaign in my house
This sounds fun, so I’m signing up as well
Thanks for coming up with a convenient list of potential stalking targets.
Also, I feel pretty dumb for not realizing Caitlin was female despite the obvious hints. Didn’t think any guy would use Johnny Depp for their Gravatar either.
I dunno the moment i saw “Caitlin” as a nickname, I couldn’t think of “MAN” in any way shape or form.
So… when do I get my membership card?
@Shin: o.O
@Hinano: Thank you! Purchasing this domain was not in vain! (Except it is kind of vain to have your own name as your domain… x.x)
And the Johnny Depp gravatar is because that scene is recreated whenever I go to a preschool. They love me. They poke me viciously. I run away. I’ll probably do a write up for what it’s like later but I’m bruised today.

My dear Hinano~ I will gladly send proof of my womanhood to you upon request!
(YEAH THAT’S RIGHT HUNG, ONLY FOR HINANO)
Sounds like fun! Does discussing topics include talking about how hot a guy is? LOL!

I think it’s a good idea for girls to have their own blogging group. It enables them to talk about things that they can’t feel comfortable talking about when men are around.
I for one will identify myself as a male, but I lament the lack of male blogger groups who discuss manly issues in Anime and Manga. Instead of baiting the women for not including us in a clearly commendable exercise in gender studies, us men should be having our own.
How many times must we be oppressed by the notion that a male hero should look like a muscle bound Goku type, when most of us blokes who are Geeks and Nerds are either scrawny or slightly overweight?
This has to be said, and just as women deserve some private girl power chatting, men should be respectful of this and while the girls chat away about Magical Girls we men should be debating the roles of men as expressed in Anime and Manga, and how this is different or similar to our own culture(s).

Hi Hinano,
Apologies for the mis-understandings in my recent post, have edited it. Once again, apologies for any troubles caused.
