Junjou Romantica - 05
I think 
it’s about time I dropped this show. Well, I have to admit I actually laugh at lot at the arcs with Usami and Misaki episodes, but like this week focused on Hiro and that other dude..and it was SOOO emo and stuff. It’s just something I guess you’d have to like BL to actually enjoy and well I’m finding myself “meh”ing over it. Basically the other dude comes back from America and Hiro is all tsuntsun that he didn’t send him any letters until the end. He then even goes as far as changing his phone # and moving just so that guy can’t come after him. In school he tries running away but he’s all like “oh noes if he grabs me again I’ll be seduced into buttsecks..even though I really want it”. Yea so Hiro-tan is all tsuntsun but he totally wants it, which is a big eyeroller to me. At the end of the credits they showed that Misaki spilled udon all over Suzuki-san and now became the replacement for Usami to molest at night for 2weeks. 
But back to what I said earlier - I mean the jokes can only go that far until I’m like “yes I know they buttsecks in every episode o_o; Let’s move on.” Guess I’m getting kinda dry on joke material as opposed to summary material which I don’t really care that much to do except with Usami and Misaki. Also I LOLed when that guy who works with Hiro said his wife left him for another man to which Hiro pointed out clearly because he was was always molesting other dudes. Anyway I’ll see what happens next week and maybe decide from there.

Junjou’s always a lawl ride, even if I’m not into yaoi. xD
And yes, it really does seem the writers have some sort of unmentioned rule of having at least on BL scene per episode. xP
Well, since it’s pretty much sticking to the manga, the episodes to come are going to be really meh and very repetitive.
In Junjou Romantica, Misaki will have fits of jelousy and will be molested every chapter.
In Junjou Egoist, pretty much what happened in this epi will happen again and again but they will be upset for different reasons.
And Junjou Terrorist, well this one was weird.
At least this happens in the manga.
Geez. All the ukes in this show are a bunch of whiny brats, it’s really starting to piss me off.

Hiro-san isn’t whiny or a brat though. Or at least in the manga I love his character. He’s kind of adorable in a way.
It’s sad the greatness (yes I think it’s great) of the manga isn’t transferring well to anime. 
This was one of the best scenes/part of the manga for me. I haven’t been watching the anime in all honesty. I don’t know, I think if all you can do is find humor in boy’s love anime (which is fine, that’s your thing) then it might be time to give it up. Yes, there are only so many lol buttsecks joke you can make a week.
As for one scene an episode, there is a scene every freaking chapter for M/A. That’s why I think it’s overdone in a way. Not so with the other two couples though, though there is a lot of sex in their story too.

I mean we’ll see like I said…I do find the Misaki/Usami parts amusing but when it comes to this srsbzness BL I can’t really take it - I start rolling my eyes xD
Junjou TERRORIST? *looks forward to it already, starts ignoring the first two sappy emo couples* Am with Hinano on this one, just because their both guys doesn’t give them an excuse to string cliche relationship problems and market it as something ‘moving’. The emo-ness this ep had my cynical side gaging all the way, thankfully they still had the the lolz facial distortions and Mr “My Sweet Honey” (and the bear udon epilogue XD). Buttsecks as ‘humour’ isn’t something that can sustain itself for 20+ episodes, so as long as they keep up the other humourous aspects, hopefully the show remains entertaining (and in your case, blogable :P)

As I’m slow to catch up(still on episode 3) I find it much more enjoyable to read the summaries here even if it’s week after week of pre-emptive rectal penetration. That reminds me, my local Kinokuniya has a dedicated section for yaoi/BL manga alone. Lawlwut. Managed to spot volume 3 and 4 of Junjou there as well, but I was sort of broke at that point in time to buy something like that just for the lulz.
LOL shin, if Malaysia’s Kinokuniya turn into anything like the bookstores here, be prepared to see entire floors dedicated to Junjou Romantica and its ilk XD
junjou terrorist is nothing THAT scary. i only read the first chapter though since the whole series has been scanlated up to that point. terrorist is pretty much willing uke, reluctant seme. i have no idea of the story but according to some people, this is the least popular of the junjou pairings. egotist (komakiXhiro) is the most popular. ~honestly, i don’t know if i like any pair more than the other…
so, you didn’t like this episode just because of its seriousness?
why watch yaoi if you don’t like it in the first place? it’s rather pointless…
