Vampire Knight - 05
Haha oh shat, now that I read the manga I don’t know what to say in my posts without spoiling up the wazoo!!
As I’m “rewatching” the story and I know what happens, I dislike Kaname a lot less for some reason. Good lawd someone stop me. 
Zero is still no. 1 in my book.
I thought before Zero got shot by his teacher, he bit Yuuki? From the way the anime made it seem is that he was about to bite her but then he was compelled to grab her and dive into the water like she’s his blow up water toy. 
I mean if he bit her, shouldn’t there have been blood all over the place similarly to when he got shot? Or did he manage not to make a mess 2nd time around? Oh well I’m actually looking forward to next week where hopefully Yuuki will pledge to do naughty things with Zero (if you get my drift.)

I don’t think he actually bit her. I re-read that part of the manga, and I can see he is about to bite her, but never actually does, cause his sexy
sensei shoots him.
I though he bit her in the manga, but then, maybe it was just my imagination xD I re-read the manga too, i i think he didn’t…if the next week’s episode it’s what i’m thinking, then it’s one of my favourites parts in the manga XD Looking forward to it
Why don’t you want to like Kaname? Am I the only one who likes Kaname, a lot. XD

Why is it “some reason”? There are plenty of reasons to hate him…At least to me. For one, he’s a control freak and two, wants Yuuki all for himself.
No he didn’t bite Yuuki, I don’t think. Just preparing for it, meaning licking it, like cleaning the spot for a shot.

But in a way I also feel kinda sorry for him…but I still think he’s a incest pedobear lmao
Kaname looks way to girly in that picture.
His “Bishie” long hair doesn’t help either.
The later parts of the manga put all of the stuff in the beginning in quite a different perspective
such a pity that it is a once a month series ><;
In the manga he almost bit her by the pool, but was shot, right?
And /that/ chapter is next? Whoo.

It seems all of us are getting ‘ero-ero’ over the upcoming scene, which is one of my favourite too.
I always support Zero/Yuuki, but I have to say that I don’t dislike Kaname. In a way, I actually think he’s kinda romantic. From what I read in the manga up to chapter 38… It’s not really incest (?) since he’s actually her ancestor (?) (I was kinda sleepy reading this part, so maybe I misunderstood). I find it kind of romantic… the idea that Kaname lived for centuries, then went into the body of a kid, then fell in love with Yuuki. He protected and watched over her for years, always having to hide his feelings. He waited for her to grow up, hiding the horrors of the vampire reality… and only telling her when it was absolutely necessary.
And while HE had to keep a distance from her, he still let Zero be so close to her, grow up beside her and protect her. I mean, the way I see it, Kaname truly loves her. Being willing to hide his feelings while letting her have a carefree life, and not being jealous of Zero because the important thing was Yuuki’s safety.

when i read the manga, i didn’t think zero bit her. i think he was just about going to but didn’t because it looked kinda like that vampire hunter guy got there just before he did.
i finally got around reading the manga… yes, i am now a zero fangirl. i’ve always liked kaname when i first picked up the series but after episode 4 (where he was a meanie to zero) and in succeeding manga chapters, he’s starting to become more and more creepy. well, i still like to look at him though
I just want to know when does chapter 40 come out lol… I mean it’s always like this… I start reading something and then I get completely mad about the fact that I have to wait till other chapters come out… I’m thirsty…lol
I wonder if they’re changing it too much in the anime in next chapters.
is it just me or is yuuki’s hair WAY TOO SHORT?
I don’t you need to restrain yourself in your posts. Most of the people who comment seem to have read the manga. It wouldn’t hurt to put a courteous “Spoilers” warning like you did; but other than that, it seems to feed the frenzy when you talk about the show as a whole; future included.
I love Kaname. I don’t care what kind of bear he is; it’s a cartoon for Jebus’ sakes. That said; Kaname vs. zero is quite simple. Kaname is a man who loves with all his heart & soul (if he’s got one) and gives 100% of his feeling and heart to 1 woman; the woman he wants to be in love with forever. Cherishing her; standing by her side, and being an upstanding, loving, charismatic gentleman as long as they both shall live.
Zero is like that guy you see on Cop who abuses his girlfriend, then tried to make it up changing until he gets to the liquor store and does it all over again a few weeks later. All that drama of the ghetto relationships that Eminem and hundreds of others write songs about.
In my opinion it’s like comparing the Waldorf to Motel 6. It’s simply a matter of taste. Zero isn’t all bad. I like him; but he’ low on my list. I’m just on Team Kaname at the moment.
Unfortunately in case you didn’t notice the pattern of shoujo manga and otome games, the girls always choose the abuser lol
I knew once you joined the dark side(ppl who read the manga) you wouldnt hate kaname-senpai anymore~~~

I noticed… but there is always room for hope. That’s what makes it fun.
If they follow the manga we won’t get to see any ZeroxYuuki. :<
