Soul Eater - 05
Ohmanohmanohman this episode had me pumped in all sorts of ways!! 
Also, I’ve really given up on late show at this point. Based on the pattern of the last 4 episodes, late show has become basically a “sneak peek” into further episodes as they would either show footage or just run the next episode period. They didn’t even show that “pantsu interrogation” scene (which you can find in this post) hence why the answer is: No, they do not show “more fansservice” during the late showing.
XD @ this scene. After reading the manga Kid’s OCD is really hillarious lol.
“I think I ripped the toilet paper unevenly!”

“Then die.”
*Explodes in fangirliness with sakura petals, sparkles and bubbles flying around*
On another note, I’ve taken my Soumakaism into RO2.
Upcoming Attractions: Soul & Black Star decide it’s time to break up, but they will still be friends..

Hee hee.
it’s always satisfying to see budding romance in shonen series. In some ways, it’s even more addictive than actual shoujo where the focus IS romance.
I went ahead and started reading some of the manga, but then I decided to stop. I’m enjoying the anime version as it is so far, and I don’t want to spoil myself. Not just for being able to enjoy the WTF moments all the more, but also because when I’ve read the source material I tend not to enjoy the new adaptation as much. (see: Howl’s Moving Castle. A grave mistake on my part, as I spent the whole movie going, “That’s different. That’s different. What happened to that scene?”)
Fav ep. so far!!!
I hope, at the rate the anime is going compared to the manga, that they will go beyond the Corona arc. As for spoiling myself… I dont care. I read the manga up to the chap 26 JUST for the fangirl moments. Thanks to your previous post I see there are more soulxmaka moments anyways!
This was great, I always enjoy Dr. Stein and his love for studying things. Good thing they didn’t cut the do-over entrance after falling from the chair. XD
Next week is going to be awesome because of the SoulXBlack Star break up… and because of Kid.
I was actually surprised they DIDN’T cut the part where Dr. Stein was drawing lines on Maka’s stomach! I think they just have a thing against panty shots or something.
It would’ve been weird if they had cut the drawing part, after all he only drew in her stomach. And besides that scene was needed to add to Maka’s “fear”
I love Stein’s swivel chair…
Well, while it’s irritating to have things cut from it’s source material, I’m not going to cry over a lost panty shot. Frankly I thought the show was fanservicey enough with Blair the boobed-wonder.
I love his chair too xD;;;
It’s not the panty shots specifically, it’s the joke of the fact that Tsubaki is sexy while Maka is just a baby in the eyes of (undead) men xD;
My inner fangirl totally dug the MakaXSoul of this ep.
My outer fanboy totally dug the near raep sequence with Dr. Stein marking cut points on Maka’s body.

These types of episodes and moments make my rabid fangirl come out in joy.
Must have more moments.. And I’m starting to love Death The Kid now.
When I first saw a scan from the manga of Maka, Soul, Black Star, and Death the Kid I immediately thought love square! Shot my hopes goodbye.
Still have MakaxSoul moments though. Keep em coming Bones. 
hummm.. Stein’s soul seems more intimidating in the manga… wonder whats missing in the art work for this…. just feel weird…

I assume Dr. Stein’s resemblance to someone you share bandwidth with has nothing to do with it?
I love this show, now that I’ve read all the current scanlations, I’m kind of hoping this doesn’t go all “never-ending-like-Naruto+etc…” on me. I’m not ready to make another deep commitment. I’m too old. That’s why I dropped D-Gray and a few others.
The characters really live up to their manga inspirations, the voices, actions, and scripts have been pretty on the money; and I’m loving it.
Dr. Stein is an interesting character. I wonder who his current storyline will end up. Great show all around.
Maka & Soul are amazing; so many scenes I am breathlessly anticipating. Plus Soul is COOOOL.
I also wish I could Maka-chop people sometimes. The world would be perfect.
