So it turns out
Riko really DID pay for Night. One of my readers (akon) explained to me that she took out a 70 year loan (I was wondering what that 70 year thing referred to!) But I guess technically she still purchased him right? Now that he is officially hers that changes a lot of things! Like for example, since she bought him, you’d think they’d be able to put a “lock” on him so that if another girl kisses him he wouldn’t reset. It’s like buying a cell phone without a password protection on it that if you lose it anyone can just grab it and go.
Also, Riko bought him but she’s still acting all tsuntsun. I’m pretty sure in the manga she at least already liked Night before all this stuff happening…but here she’s still running around telling everyone he’s her cousin and she has no romantic feelings for him what so ever. Also all of a sudden Mika is now Riko’s best friend?? Why did it just seem like they were “co-workers” or like not really close friends before? In the manga at least Mika acted more best friendy than here.
Also what the hell is up with Soushi’s brother? Unless I’m having a brain fart I thought in the manga Soushi’s brother was younger and a lot nicer. Here we got an older dickhead who makes decisions without even tasting the freaking product. Geez what an ass. I love the “nothing will sell unless it looks good”. Well let me tell you the menu of Sakae Sushi looks great but tastes like fucking shit, so don’t tell me looks sell >_>.
So finally we have the end where Riko runs all the way back to the office from the onsen (for like no apparent reason…I mean really wtf are you gonna do in this?) and all while Mika the man stealing whore makes out with Night - aka resets him to be her boyfriend. It makes no sense like I said earlier. If he was a “trial” or whatever for research, then yea I can see why this would work..but since Riko bought him, why in the hell would he be so easily reset to another owner?? I think the drama writers created too many plot holes with their “creativity” :S In the manga I’m pretty sure the one who reset him was some random prostitute anyway 
Upcoming Attractions: I guess Night is gonna remember about Riko and come back to her.

I remember in the manga Night had a job pleasing ladies at a club to help Riko pay for him. And the random prostitute said she wants to get serious with him so she gives him a surprise kiss, setting him up as her boyfriend. =/
Sooo…Riko’s not in debt? Now the drama’s going to add in lots of filler-y stuff for changing that fact. Woah, there are so many fuckin changes in this drama!
well I guess technically she’s paying for him for the rest of her life so maybe she is in debt?
Ahh…did my words make this even more confusing?….Now I’m scratching my head a little and I haven’t even watched the third episode yet.
Well, from what I gather, she technically is in debt since she has an agreement with the company to pay for him in installments (for basically the rest of her life…like a really long mortgage I guess) but I don’t think Gaku did anything special after she bought him….like put a lock on him and so on. So basically he’s still operating in trial mode, but the only difference is Riko doesn’t have to give him back to the company (since the President didn’t want their “investment” being continually used for free).
But I see how that’s weird since if she owns it, it should only be devoted to her (basically no reset option). Honestly, I think the writers just wanted to add some love drama in the story and the whole “lock” thing would’ve prevented that from happening.
either that or they just wanted to avoid the scene of night gettin it on with a random whore (aside from Mika)
About the reset… as far as the manga went, he wasn’t locked because she hadn’t had sex with him yet. If she had, he wouldn’t have reset from a kiss.
Riiko seems to be annoying the hell out of me in the drama. Tsuntsun is one thing… poorly written Tsuntsun is another though.

And yes, her feelings for Night were a lot more apparent in the manga, here she’s kind of annoying me too ^^;

I wonder what would happen if Night has sex multiple times. His processor would probably blow up, lol.
the problem is Riko only did him like once in the manga lol so that would never be a problem - and considering that she wont even kiss him in the drama…
i cant sleep well last night considering that night is cheating on riiko. (plus i hvnt read the manga yet) i thought that he’s tired of riiko’s cold act on him. this morning i read the manga n i was so-damn-relieved that it was just a whole reset thingy due to the kiss. LOL. btw, night is so freaking hot! yaiy
yeah, it’s driving me insane! i was also wondering about that why the hell, there is no password protection since Riiko has bought it already! i’m sure he will remember Riiko as his ex-gf like in the manga! I can’t sleep well this past few days waiting for the new subtitled episodes—gee! though i can understand almost of it all, still i want to read the subs with an ease in mind =) it will be on episode 4 tomorrow -God i really really hate that Mika girl! she’s a friend to Riiko in the manga and all of the sudden- she’s a cunning boyfriend stealer friend!!! what’s worst if these two are going to have sex, Night will completely forget Riiko like in the manga- i think that is the password protection ne? Riiko to have sex with Night!
