Vampire Knight - 04
Because all you guys pressured me into it I’m reading the manga now XD I’m only on like chapter 16 though but that’s still far enough reading that I knew what was gonna happen in this episode. So my thoughts so far? Kaname is a pedobear, Zero is still hot and should get with Yuki. The biggest question I have this week is….
Who’s the trap? I mean I recall in the relevant manga chapter seeing part of someone’s hair but I couldn’t tell if it was a he or she because they didn’t show a face….but I guess it doesn’t matter when it looks like a woman but sounds like a man.

I loved the slap by Kaname. XD I was like “Wait for it….YES!” Pwned. 
All that aside, Yuki x Zero ftw:
I was hoping they’d go into detail about this scene but maybe they will later? The explanation on how Zero thought himself disgusting and wanted to tear at his neck due to the memory of the vampires.
Hopefully I can catch up on the manga at lightning speeds before next week’s episode.

Ugh, I hate Kaname.
Also Lala released Ouran HSHC chapter 61. Not enough Tamaki. T^T And something horrible happened at the end of chapter.
Haha yea umm I read Ouran. I’m incredibly enraged with the chapter’s ending, hopefully she’ll just be like I Love Tamaki-senpai sorry lol

Yeah, I hope so. x] I’m tired of reading about the twins. Hopefully next chapter Hatori-sensei will finally make Tamaki “see the light” as you said in Special A lol.

Yuki won’t turn back… She just returned to her original form and possibly regained her memories of that time… Personally I like the change ^^
I read volumes 1 & 2 about a year ago and wasn’t really impressed. I believe the English translations are now up to 4 chapters or a pending fourth at least.
Is it really worth reading the manga? I’m loving the anime. I’m, as usual, 1 episode behind you. Spoilers don’t bother me.
It’s nice to have a heads up, in my opinion.
Plus, Yuki and Kaname make a much better couple. I don’t know if it’s going to work, but I find that far more appealing than Yuki & Zero. His name says it all. Ruka is my favorite on looks alone.
It’s supposed to be 26 eps right? Hope it doesn’t turn into a never ending saga.

Zero x Yuki, ftw! On looks, my favorite is still Shiki
but I hate his chara design on the anime. The poor guy looks badly drawn the little time he appears on screen. He was the faceless guy when all vampires are introduced. My favorite chara is a faceless and almost mute guy! 
Oh, and maybe it’s just me but Zero scratching his neck made me remember Rena from Higurashi. :lol:. Except Zero isn’t just as psycho, that would be creepy.
I actually like Kaname - because that pedobear is hot. But for Yuuki, I like her and Zero together because there has been too much drama between them and zilch with Kaname (so far - I read very little of the manga to comment on that).
re: Ouran - when I read chapter 61 since the lot of you have been commenting about it, I started to think that the decline of the Host Club has come…
I seriously hope Zero snatches Yuuki in the end and get their vampire on.
(agrees with Kaname the pedobear thing.)
As much as Kaname is “hot” and all, he must be ages ahead of Yuuki and I only see him as the scary, over-protective brother type with her.
(On the other hand, Zero grew up with her. Like, grew up and got older.)

u know.. i got no idea y.. but i seems to wanna see to wanna see yuki get turned into a vampire… 
Yerh. the events in the manga just keep coming at you like never ending slaps in the face followed by continuous kicks and punchs and toward the end of chapter 35, as well as the injuries inflicted, a bucket of water is poured all over you followed by more punches by blindfold. Maybe.
That is depending on the person you root for. 
i wonder if they will cut some manga scenes out entirely =/ i want them to stick to the study session ebtween yuuki and zero gahh it was like the most heart pumping and cutest moment , but they changed episode 3 from shiki and toyha to kaname battling the level E. seems they completely rooting out all other characters and emphasising them as minor and replacing them with iether kaname or zero, whichever best fits into it.
re: Ouran @biankita: decline as in the humour, drama or the acutal decline in the quality of the manga storyline it self?
^ There wasn’t that much humor in that last chapter. Not that I read. All I read Hikaru stuffs.
I do like Hikaru.
But sadly, I don’t think he’s ending up with Haruhi.

Back to Vampy Knight. Yuuki is terribly short standing next to bishounens Zero and Kaname– but then again, most anime girls are.

I thought I was looking at Saiunkoku Monogatari from the first screenshot
i watched the raw (lord i’m horrible - i didn’t even understand half if it because i suck at japanese and has just ruined it for myself when the subs come out)… kaname was really creepy in this episode… like a possessive stalker, especially in the last scene. and i thought yuki and zero was so sweet - they’re cute together and should go away and make little vampire babies together.
@ wend`aii: re ouran: when I said decline of host club, i meant the decline of their club. there are too many toes and everyone will be walking on eggshells about it that will be stepped on whether haruhi ends up going out with hikaru or not. of course, humor will go with that…

Soooo glad to hear I’m not the only Zero-fan (and/or not-especially-big-Kaname fan) out there. @_@
I only read 2 books so I can’t spoil anything, but I want to test the tags too. I’m bored.

We did agree with Hayate Combat Butler & Nagasarete Airantou.
I don’t dislike Zero, but he’s like a cheeseburger compared to the steak that is Kaname. Think about it. A girl all alone in the snow about to be ripped into like a bowl of kibble & Bits at a dog pound, is saved and left unharmed by a strange yet captivating effeminate male. She carries a torch from him well into her young woman years; and suddenly he’s on the verge of returning her feelings.
On the other hand, Zero went all Kibbles & Bits on her neck, and not in the good way. A simple Bishie “I’m sorry” won’t fix that in my book.
Needless to say I speculate (again I know nothing) that Kaname will win her over and probably change her in his own sexy way, and Zero will come rescue her and over come his BS and live happily ever after. Until the sequel. Either way I’m just loving the show.

Lol, i wonder since when did Kaname get the pedobear nickname.
I actually do like Kaname after re-reading the entire chapters back, because i kind kind of understand he’s doing this for the sake of his beloved Yuuki ( by stalking.. er.. protecting her ), but it doesn’t change that I still like YuukixZero.
I remember when reading the manga for the first time, the one i like is Kaname and i hope he’ll end up with Yuuki, but Zero’s character development really attract me and i learnt that Zero is just not some emo boy as he’s willing to give his life to yuuki if she wishes it for.
( And what emo boy is willing to take care of a horse kindly? 
)
Btw, i like the Kaname in the past when he’s in his teenage form, look so innocent and cute.
So, Hinano, let us continue our shipping for Z x Y, let the Kaname fans be.
I’m okay with Kaname on his own or with someone else too.

I finally watched this episode (better late than never
). So far I read the manga up to chapter 38, so obviously I knew what would happen here. But since I read the manga a bit too fast, I can’t remember many scenes in detail. All I know is that watching episode 3 and 4 made me think: “Did Zero really bite Yuuki for the first time in the stairs? I thought in the manga it was in a bathroom.” and then this episode’s scene of Yuuki clinging to him, was it in the manga too? (Not that I’m complaining 
the more Zero/Yuuki the better).
I keep thinking that the voices are really good, but the animation makes it look like they have NO facial expressions!

I admire Zero for his stubborn and relentless fight to suppress his vampiric side.
Aidou should get more disciplined otherwise one day he will cross either Kaname or Cross-sensei (no pun intended) one time too much.
There really hasnt been any zero and kaname showdowns in the manga if I recall, but perhaps the anime team will change that since the manga is still going
