I know it’s a small, nit-picky thing but it makes me put my hands over my eyes. It just looks ridiculous.

See that’s what I mean! It’s kinda like…WHY is this here? Like when you order sushi at some Japanese restaurant and in the middle of your tray suddenly there’s a Big Mac lol.

I guess I really feel disappointed like the rest of you guys too. Just the general execution of the show is becoming pretty crappy.

I’m actually going to watch this one tonight, raw, just to get my torment over with. I’m pretty much disappointed in how crappy it’s getting in just a few episodes. The voices bother me a little but not as much as the sparkly crayon crap. What’s up with that??? I know it’s a small, nit-picky thing but it makes me put my hands over my eyes. It just looks ridiculous.

Perosnally, I don’t mind if studios change the pace, order, and elements of the story if they did it properly and brilliantly and actually helped the story. But it would seem from your summary that it isn’t FAIL.

I’m getting over the whole seiyuu thing. Even Hikari’s - though many bloggers have reminded me that it’s irritating and I end up thinking it irritating again. But there is something strangely disturbing about Lelouch being here and not destroying the world. I watch both anime (and two other series where FukuJun is present) so it can’t be helped.

Thank Bob we have the manga.

Times like this I always take it to heart: “We still have the manga!”

That being said, I hope the series picks up when we get out of the early “Kei and Hikari” chapters and start focusing on the other SA members a bit more.

I mean, I like everyone else. The other SA members have fine voices! It’s just Hikari, maybe Kei (although I’m starting to like it), and a few others that grate. Unfortunately, Hikari being the main character, we have to listen to her all the time.

God, this series has been a dissapointment.
No, Hikari didn’t bangged her head on a rail. Actually everything that happened after Kei’s brother ran away, was changed.

FYI, Kei’s dad VA is the same as Shinji of Eva fame, Megumi Ogata. Definitely some weird casting going on this show ^^;;
