Junjou Romantica - 03
This 
week seems to focus on another BL pairing so now I have to remember even more names! The episode begins by showing a ronery guy without his buttsecks partner thinking about the hawt night he had before. For some reason in the flashback one of the dudes must be into S&M cause he’s got the whole blindfold thing going on. Anyway back to the present time after the OP suddenly another man appears after launching a penis pump shaped rocket by this guy’s feet.
The pen0r rocket man says “hajimemashite”, and immediately grabs Mr. Ronery and drags him away Suzumiya Haruhi style. He brings him to where 3 old jijis are drinking beer and they hand him a can. (Oh good lawd can we keep the old men out of this? 
) Mr. Penis rocket clearly must know that Mr. Ronery plays for the other team because he pats him on the head Higurashi style and tells him “don’t worry”. This causes Mr. Ronery to blush and think of the buttsecks flashback again.
After Mr.Ronery sits down to drink with the old farts they call him “Hiro-tan” so I guess he’ll be Hiro-tan to me too. They tell him the story about Mr. Rocket (*hinano goes to the official site and looks up his name) Nowaki and how he is this abandoned kid and he worked so hard through his life and now he’s reached happiness. Hiro-tan looks at Nowaki and says he wants to be happy too. Don’t worry Hiro-tan I’m sure your happiness in the form of buttsecks will come soon.
Too soon in fact - as Hiro-tan goes home, Nowaki stalks him saying “you were crying I am worried!” OH NOES! 
He then asks Hiro-tan to help him study so he can get into college and even though he refuses, Nowaki forces him by saying “NO, IT HAS TO BE YOU” lol. He even stalks Hiro-tan up to his apartment and then steals the key and runs off LOL. The next morning that stolen key was not in vain as Nowaki’s face is the first thing Hiro-tan sees when he wakes up. 
He’s also made Hiro-tan breakfast. Anyway after some tsuntsun, Hiro-tan agrees to tutor Nowaki. Hiro-tan comes back home and finds Nowaki sleeping with some study materials nearby. He begins thoughts of comparison between his previous buttsecks partner. As I’m watching I’m thinking “Why is Hiro’s voice so…blargh!?” LOL like you have this hot character design then you have this GAR voice actor. You can’t have GAR voice actors for yaoi bishounen stars. At least Nowaki’s voice is somewhat pleasing.
Nowaki notices Hiro has a collection of multiple copies of a book by the same author. He figuers he’s a fan but Hiro-tan explains that the guy is his “childhood friend” but the in his thoughts he says “the person I loved~” *insert roses here* After more flashbacks, Nowaki gets out of the shower and finds Hiro-tan asleep on the floor. Naturally he immediately takes advantage of the situation for some surprise buttsecks kissing!
Hiro-tan immediately wakes up and pushes Nowaki off. Before Nowaki can finish his love confession suddenly Hiro-tan’s ex-lover Akihiko USAMI shows up! OH NOES DORAMA! 
Looks like Usami has found himself a new buttsecks partner (as seen in episode 2) so now poor Hiro-tan is all ronery and almost breaks down into tears. BUT! Nowaki shows up and grabs Hiro-tan from behind claiming his man beast! YOU GO BOY! Afterwards Hirotan yells at Nowaki for doing this and Nowaki finally confesses his undying love.
Nowaki then admits that it was love at first sight (I’m telling you that penis pump rocket was a sign) and he lied about needing to study. He just wanted to be with Hiro-tan. He even tells him how he fell in love with his crying face but he wants to see him smile! How romantic! In response Hirotan turns tsundere and throws a book at Nowaki telling him to go home 
After Nowaki leaves Hiro-tan paces the room and says to himself “pfft a MAN confessing to a MAN!” followed by “…but I love men too..”
Continuing in the tsundere path, Hiro-tan misses Nowaki too much and decides to stalk him back. He gets incredibly furious when he sees those two high school WHORES approaching HIS Nowaki! How DARE they! Omg and so that evening Nowaki shows up dressed like Vocaloid Kaito saying he wanted to see Hiro-tan. HAHAH WHAAAT IS GOING ON LOL! He then immediately hugs Hiro-tan saying that he saw him stalking him while he was working at the flower shop.
Well after the hugging and confession clearly the final step is: BUTTSECKS. Unfortunately if you want to see the details you clearly need to purchase the DVD. Otherwise half of the screen gets blurred by blackness as always. So thanks to Hiro-tan’s “Special Lessons” Nowaki makes it into the college. As a congratulations Hiro sends Nowaki a huge boquet of man roses. Nowaki is so happy he runs home and glomps Hiro-tan, who was being all ronery again.
Upcoming Attractions: 6 years later, Nowaki goes to NY for some American buttsecks!

Y’know, whenever I see a yaoi title, I always think back to my favorite professor EVAR. A Japanese Lit. professor who was gay and FABULOUS. And when taking his “Homosexuality in Japanest Lit.” class (yes, that was an actual class), he showed all of the yaoi fangirls (aka 90% of the class) just what REAL Japanese gay men like in their smut manga. . . . . And it’s not pretty. *barf* FYI: Real Japanese gay guys don’t like the pretty guys like Junjou Romantica. Their types are . . . . . . different. *barf*
i know this is your blog, hence you can write whatever you want here and i’m glad at least someone is blogging this show. But everytime i read your summary, i always feel down. I’d rather have no one blog this at all than have you treat this show like a joke. There are tons of ridiculous series around but because this is a gay show it has to get this kind of treatment. Really, reading your entries on junjou romantica is a let down. Buttsecks partner, S&M, penis pump shaped rocket? Geez..If you’re going to continue blogging this, at least make it decent and critical. If you’re going for the laughs, man, are you blogging this for the people who are genuinely interested in junjou or for those people who want to make fun of it?
I was told by a commentor this couple is far superior to the previous one. Also, it seems subs for this have finally showed up, so there’s no reason for anyone not to pick this up. Time to air it at the anime club.

So the Ghey guy have a love-at-first-sight-for-the-crying-and-ronery guy as a theme for this episode. 
It’s funny i have fun ( and a good laugh ) with the story without watching the actual raw. All i have to say is just keep up the work!

I have no actual interest in BL and the only reason I am blogging is to make fun of it because people like to read my summaries that way. If I blogged this seriously, I don’t think anyone would bother to read it except a couple BL fans like yourself. I recommend reading 4 Flavors of Taiyaki blog (in my blogroll). I believe that person blogs it a bit more seriously than I do. I figured my entries would offend a real BL fan like yourself but like I said, I can’t take yaoi/bl anime seriously especially when they have a gag/joke every 5 minutes in itself anyway. As a real fan of this show, I don’t recommend that you read my summaries because yes they are offensive to this anime in general.

Anyway, I finally got my hands on the first sub. And I think you’re right… it’s hard to take the anime seriously especially since they have a gag every five minutes. Keep it up! I so look forward to your two cents.
I may try a different approach next time and we’ll see how that goes. It’s hard to please everyone with this show, because you get people who really like BL and you get those who just wanna see crack.
I am kind of real BL fangirl, but I love your reviews on Junjou. But then I am among those (very few) BL fans that think that Gravitation is an abomination. Anyway…

Really, no self-respecting BL fangirl watches anime to serve her BL needs. For that we have manga. Anime is for this kind of fun.

Guys are so much more romantic in BL anime than in shoujo anime.

I love BL and love Junjou Romantica and I love how you do your summaries. I do have an interest in it, but I also know the absurdity of the whole thing. I agree with Alexis that I get my SERIOUS BUSINESS BL love from manga, not budget animu.
But your whole style is great. I’ve been your faithful fan ever since you called Mao from KimiKiss out to be the whore that she was. Please continue as you are! 
Anyway, this is my favorite couple of the series. They are pretty adorable in the manga and more then just surprise buttsecks all the time. I look forward to the rest. Hiro-san is really cute though. He’s in such denial.

I have to admit Junjou Romantica is overshadowed by all the sexual scenes, but you can expect that always in yaoi manga/anime. I guess it’s hard to understand the characters unless you read up till the new volumes of manga to really get the emotional at last. Long wait actually. -_- But I love how it is reviewed here. It’s perfectly humorous.
