Itazura na Kiss - 04
While 
watching this I said “I have no idea why I keep watching this show, Naoki is such a weiner head” and then JP reminded me that “Naoki acts like a dick for 20 minutes and then Kotoko pwns him in the last 3.” 
And just as KEIKAKU this pattern followed well into this episode as well! Also as a side note, I have no idea why I’m discovering ItaKiss episodes on Thursdays, but just to be safe I’ll still leave it as a “Friday” show until I can confirm that I can get a hold of it on Thursday instead.
The episode begins with Naoki’s mom as usual and her “kekakus” to basically get Naoki and Kotoko to marry. She even goes as far as planning to make a separate room in the house for their future baby lol. When Naoki comes home and hears this he’s of course incredibly furious. While arguing with his parents, Kotoko gets home as well to hear him yelling out that he’d never marry that stupid girl. Kotoko yells at him saying she has no intention to marry him either.
Even though it’s summer break, she has a crapload of HW to do and studying for the exams as always. However she takes a break when her friends invite her to a water park. Naoki’s mom overhears this and forces Naoki to take his shota brother there as well. Naoki doesn’t understand why but then he figures out his mom’s “keikaku” to see Kotoko in her stylish school bathing suit. 
Actually even Kotoko’s friends think her swimsuit is kinda lame lol.
At one point Naoki’s brother tries to go into the deep end and ends up drowning. Kotoko saves him and later on when she hurts her leg on a water slide, Naoki ends up saving her in return. He even goes as far as massaging her foot! I feel bad for Kinchan who swims laps for her but she only has eyes for that weiner head Tsunderella. So after Kotoko gets home she hears about Naoki’s mom’s next “keikaku” of going to visit grandma and taking shota brother with her…leaving Kotoko & Naoki home alone (cause their dads are gone too lol.)
Naoki tells her to make dinner but since Kotoko is really dumb she can’t even cook. Naoki ends up making dinner - but not because he’s good at cooking - because he just remembered how to do it after doing it once. Lol. Finally when Kotoko asks him to help with her hw, he refuses so she ends up sneaking into his room to try to steal his notes. She naturally fails and Naoki pretends to raep her but she starts babbling that they should at least date first. He starts laughing and lets her go. She walks out of the room but he says “I’ll give you the notes in return for teasing you” and she comes back with “well if you INSIST I’ll take them, and I’ll even give you the honor of letting ME copy them!” LMAO. Kotoko 1, Naoki 0.

Ahhhhh, classic shoujo.
But yes, Kotoko always getting in the last word for the episode is a definite plus. Especially in today’s emo-ridden world.
Cause in classic shoujo the mom totally wants to set up her son and the “future daughter” together
Well, it is refreshing to see a mother-in-law who’s not a total bitchy shrew. How often do you see a mother-in-law who’s 100% on the girl’s side?
Can’t wait to watch this episode! I still haven’t seen episode 3 though…

Those last three minutes of Kotoko pwning Naoki are the only reason why I enjoy watching this series…

Yea Kotoko totally pwned Naoki back at ep. 3… and it’s the SLAP of the year!
Have to say I hate Tsunderella more than any other tsundere-boy I’ve seen in shoujo. He’s plain dick and not much nice qualities to even deserve Kotoko. Dunno how he could make up for it later.
Oi its Kotoko 2 Naoki 0 Arsenal 6 the game isn’t over though Naoki had been getting raped in the last two innings.
Kotoko’s future mum us the best mother in the world. Truly she is the Queen of kekaku! I am also guilty of watching this just to see Tsunderella Naoki lose.

Watching this show is like playing the anime cliche drinking game. How many shots is a school swimsuit?
Look, even fatty-chan went with a two-piece; good for her! (But someone should remind her that vertical stripes are slimming.) Well, at least Kotoko dropped the Pippi Kneesocks look. As Haruhi taught us, ponytails are the best.

What I don’t understand is that the bigger dick Naoki becomes that more attracted Kotoko seems to become of her. It makes me think if it’s because I’m in my twenties not and I’m contemplating what I was like when I was 16 when it came to boys.
And I agree with Bluemist that it makes me wonder too how he’s gonna make up for it because they are inevitably ending up with each other.
You’d figure after all the end of show victories by Kotoko, which I’m sure there will be more to come, that Naoki will figure out he can’t win eventually, and relent and join the “winning” team. Or something like that. Until that time, let’s enjoy Naoki getting punked by Kotoko’s walk off homers.
Well, I’ve read the manga summaries (couldn’t read the manga, art too displeasing), and if the summaries are anything to go by, the “finally get together” scene is pretty awesome.
Even though Naoki acts like a douche sometimes… he might be developing feelings for her
