Kimi Hannin Janai Yo Ne? - 02

Published by Hinano at 6:20 pm under Kimi Hannin Janai Yo Ne?

I was hoping it wouldn’t come to this but it almost appears to be like a cookie cutter setup for this drama in a similar way that it was setup for Yukan Club. A mystery happens, the heroes solve it, they good off in the process, end of episode. It’s become quiet apparent that the first woman that Udagawa falls in love with is obviously the criminal. I guessed it right from the start and I was right. The difference was that in this episode her “murder” was justified because she did it because the guy she killed wanted to sell her father’s business…and everyone is okay with this. If this was America she’d still be sent to jail, whether or not her crime was justified. I mean what are they gonna do, blame the dead guy? :???: Anyway I hope the show moves in to focus on Sakura and Udagawa (or both? ) because I don’t know if I wanna sit through another 11-12 episodes of “you’re not the criminal are you? oh wait yes you are”.

Don’t. Instead, try something else that’s more intelligent — and more relevant too. Yes, I’m trying to convince you to blog Last Friends again. :)

It’s only depressing if you see it as depressing. On the other hand, it’s a triumph if you see it as the characters deal with very real social issues. And triumph I am sure this show will end in if not just because of the title of the show.

Give it a shot. It won’t give you death — an ulcer maybe. :)

Maybe the setup will start to change once Udagawa falls in love with Sakura, but until that happens every episode is probably going to be the same…

bakaneko> ok ok Last Friends is NOT relevant to any of my interests  Nor do I find it intelligent watching a girl get beat up and continue to take it. All it does is piss me off and make want to break my monitor.

Scheris> Yea I’m hoping that’ll happen soon XD

Yeah, hopefully one of Sakuras outfits will set Udagawas crazy 50s sparkle music off. How come it happened in club Asedaku?! Haha. Although, I thought I’d hear a record scratch on that part.

Yeah I don’t know how anyone could sit through Last Friends….I was appalled really…

Anyhow, I hate series with these set-up episode storylines too. It’s like Shugo Chara with the X-egg of the week thing. There’s no continuity in the story-telling ..

The show is not just about that one scene. Everyone has their Achilles heel. Don’t put down the severity of another person’s struggle just because it isn’t a struggle for you. Sorry for coming off so strong at you, but perhaps it hits home closer for me than it is for you.

Maybe you should stick with Disney shows then.
