Da Capo II Second Season - 03
I
actually enjoyed this episode mostly because it answered some of my DCII unsolved mysteries. The one big question I had was why the hell did they call Yoshiyuki as brother yet he did not live with them and had a different last name. Well alas thanks to flashbacks it was explained that he came to live with the Asakuras at a young age (although it does not say why) and because he was living in the same house Yume called him “niichan” and Otome decided to refer to him as ototoukun.
My WTF? moment came when they showed Jyuunichi. I was like OMG! Jyuunichi! I missed you! But now you’re an old jiji
Uumm I hope that it’s explained on a) why Jyuunichi is still around but wasn’t around until this episode. Also where are Yume and Otome’s parents if Jyuunichi is the ojiichan? Secondly, I’m guessing Jyuunichi had a son since the Asakura name has been passed down to Yume & Otome. And finally, why did Yoshiyuki go back to living with Sakura rather than where he used to live with Yume & Otome?
All these unsolved mysteries brought to you by magical manju. Looks like Jyuunichi was brought back for the sole purpose of being like “yea you know that magical hand flip pop candy out trick? yea I taught him that *thumbs up*” I have a feeling we’re never gonna see Jyuunichi-ojiisan again
The flashback also showed Otome being a fucking bitch “why the hell should I play with you?” Wow I kinda like shota Yoshiyuki. He was all innocent and sweet and like “because you’re my oneechan”. I mean if I’m a kid and some other kid goes “why should I play with you?” the natural response is to take my box of markers and throw it in their face then proceed to go occupy myself with someone more interesting.
Otome of course was easily won by the fact that Yoshiyuki can use magic. I mean really I can’t stand these lolis with these deep complexes like “I can use magic, so I have problems, you’ll NEVER understand me” like wtf you’re like 8 you’re supposed to be playing in the sandbox or riding your bike. Not staring deeply into the sunset while sakura petals twirl around your ribbon. Speaking of sunsets, what the hell is up with that yakusoku of theirs? Isshin doutai? It feels like some kind of sex appointment. Ever since I watched & read Maze, I can’t think of isshin doutai in any other way.
Bearing this in mind, I can only now think that Otome and Yoshiyuki will be ultimate pairing in this series. I know they’re tryign to toss a bone to Yume here but I don’t think it’s working. They got that childhood sex promise thing going on while she only has the “you’re my oniichan” thing on her side. Also I have a feeling all the random fires going on in the neighborhood are related to Otome in some way, as well as Koko getting sick. I mean come on the woman’s already been rejected, I hope they don’t suddenly pull that Sakura/Nemu (flower petal coughing) thing and bring Koko into it.

Well, if these pictures weren’t so pretty I don’t think I’d be following this, although I’m capped atm so I won’t be able to watch or download anything for one bloody week T.T
Hinano, are you into sport comedy dramas? If so, you should check out ROOKIES! It’s about a teacher recruiting a group of delinquent boys to play baseball and it’s got some famous people.
eh…
no Nanaka spotlight yet D:
</3
But I watched for the pretty scenery as well 8D;;
blissmo> I actually don’t like any sports dramas. I think the only one I ever followed was Waterboys and that other one with the guys from V6 (which I think was also about baseball?)
Shining> I was thinking myself like I haven’t really seen Nanaka around much period this season XD
humm… i get the feeling that we might get the answer from otome why yoshiyuki move out to sakura…. and well… kids are funny… they love to call ppl big sister or brother… soo i suppose thats the reason yume and otome called yoshiyki by that…
suppose she kicked her bucket or smthing…
still!! this show is starting to give me abit of the feeling D.C.I had…
We din’t get to see nemu…
THAT’S JYUUNICHI!!???
HOLY CRAP! HE’S AN OLD MAN!
i wanna see nemu now.
“I’m guessing Jyuunichi had a son since the Asakura name has been passed down to Yume & Otome.”
I think he actually had a daughter… since in the game it’s mentioned that Otome inherited her magic powers from her mother. Though, if that were true, then the Asakura name thing probably wouldn’t make any sense at all.
Do I sense a plothole no jutsu?
I’m thinking Junichi-jiji goes away a lot on random trips (DCII first season?), and during those times Yume and Otome would live with Yoshiyuki because no one else is around. But I guess these illogical details are better left alone, kinda like how Anzu lives alone in a big mansion.
And it’s better to forget the entire first season of the Da Capo II anime, whatever happened over there isn’t even important compared to what’s going to happen this time around.
