Need a phone strap? How about a piece of $hit?

This is probably old news to everyone but I recently got myself a new cell phone which finally had a strap hole in it. I’m currently using my company’s mascot as a strap but I wanted to get one of those straps you can use to clean the screen because I have a slider phone and the screen constantly gets dirty. Soo…being a weeaboo that I am I headed over to Strap-Ya which specializes in weeaboo & “kawaii” phone straps from Japan. (Some of these you can get at Kinokuniya though which is why I never purchased from there before.)

Anyway I clicked on one of the sidebar links on the left that said ?? and had a golden poo strap in the photo…and well that’s what I got. It’s not really the concept of golden poo that amuses me, but the titles and taglines that they write all over the page. I don’t know if it’s to be ironic or they figure using humor will hide the fact that they’re telling us overseas people that Japanese are fascinated with pieces of shit to attach to their cell phones.

They even come in different colors and shapes which include a baseball glove full of crap and poo in a bottle.

Is anyone brave out there to buy a piece of crap? Although if I didn’t know any better it could be like the top of Mr. Softee’s head, cause honestly, no one’s shit in real life ever looks that nice and organized anyway. :lol:

    Not many people go through as many phone straps as I do. My stupid Razr just breaks the straps so quickly after I put a new one on, it’s ridiculous. The site you gave me is brilliant… I think I, too, will get myself golden poo on a string… or something girly. It’s not like I dont have Hello Kitty and Haruhiism phonestraps already

    Yeah, I’m not jealous about being surrounded by nerds, but in the end you still get to see him. :smile:

    I think you’re much better off sticking using the strap with your company mascot, rather than using this piece of … crap. Or have you been a brave soul and bought it a set already? One for you and one for JP.

    Secondly, how the hell could you pick a turd, golden or not, over a pink seal stun gun? What’s wrong with you. It’s cute and deadly!! :twisted:

    Plus there are a ton of little wipers and cleaners I’m sure you could keep handy to clean your screen. Don’t spend more than $4. Unless they kiss you first. :)

    wow, shit always brings me memories. I remember giving a very small japanese digital pet to my gf (”tamagotchi”, if i remember correctly), which she used as a strap for her schoolbag n her favorite pet was a piece of shit… yeah, it had eyes n it moved, but we didn’t know that it was poo until I began to watch anime…

    Is it really solid gold shit or it is gold plated shit? If the latter, what kind of shit did they use? Bullshit? Or Doggypoo? Is it realpoo or shampoo?

    Interestingly, there are 9 people at this point in time who don’t have a phone. Given that these days even an under-10 loli/shota has their own phone, it’s surprising. Now you want me to get a phone strap for mine! Must find a Dejiko.

    I bought a few of those little golden poos on a little red mat in Kyoto. I think they’re strangely adorable!
