Junjou Romantica - 02

For one reason or another, over 200 people want me to blog this show so I guess I will. :lol: Although since I’m not really into BL it’ll probably be a big sarcast fest, although I have a feeling that’s why people voted “HELL YEA!” anyway. So anyway the episode begins with the usual breakfast between Misaki, Usami & Suzuki-san (the bear.) I like how Misaki calls him a “BL novel writing TENTE” (instead of sensei :lol: ) Before Misaki even has a chance to go to school he has to get his cock grabbed of course. Oh and for the record, Misaki is 18 and Usami is 28 :shock:

Misaki also discovers that Usagi’s been writing him into his gay porn novels. But he says not to worry because :shock: he wrote a disclaimer saying this has nothing to do with actual people! :twisted: Misaki tears up his manuscript in vain since the guy has it saved on a disk anyway. When Misaki gets to college everyone tries to keep away from him and in the classroom they all begin looking at him and whispering. He trips & falls and begins to cry like a pansy until another bishie (perhaps a future buttsecks candidate) asks if he’s okay.

When talking to the guy, Keiichi, Misaki finds out that everyone at school knows who Usami is and when they saw him dropping Misaki off at college they were wondering “what is their relationship!!” (And they were probably right to assume and add in some yaoi fangirl fantasies.) After school Misaki’s excited to finally have a friend at school but Usami just gets pissed at him and tells him not to get a bartending job because he won’t be able to concentrate on his studies (which is clearly “I won’t have anyone to molest at night”).

While slicing a phallic eggplant Misaki wonders why Usami always grabs him and comes to the conclusion that he is his brother’s “replacement”. Later there’s a flashback in which Misaki explains that his parents died when he was 8 in a car accident and ever since then Usami has watched over Misaki’s brother. When talking later with Keiichi, he tells Misaki that he likes his “exciting” way of talking (and probably the excitement in his pants). Usami sees this out his window and gets jealous with man rage!

After school Misaki says he wants to go to dinner with Keiichi but Usami tells him no and then grabs him and pulls him into the car. Misaki yells at him and then says that his behavior is annoying. When he realizes he he’s said he feels bad so using that opportunity Usami grabs him again, throws him in the car like a sack of potatoes and drives off. :lol: Back at home its a battle of jealousy between Misaki & Usami for Misaki’s bro and Keiichi, and basically it ends with them furiosly making out.

Eventually Misaki pushes the hornball off him and starts crying like a little girl saying he doesn’t wanna be his brother’s replacement for Usami. Usami tells him that he realized he wants Misaki…since last episode and immediately goes to give him a blow job. This is followed by steamy buttsecks in which for some reason Misaki looks like a girl. I mean honestly if I turn the sound off, I couldn’t tell the difference since most body parts are shadowed off anyway. It was funny when Usami put Misaki’s hand on his manboob to “feel his dokidoki heartbeat” :lol: The episode ends with Usami saying “I will not let anyone touch you” except himself as he jajajams it in.

I think I’m jaded to yaoi, I actually enjoy the funny parts in these things a lot more. I’ve already watched at least 4 yaoi/BL shows and blogged 2 of them so this is just another day at the office for me. :cool: It’s like LOLing at that episode of Genshiken 2 with the Ogiue fantasies

    Strangely, I think I may enjoy watching this show more than the other fanservice shows this season (except for Kamen no Maid Guy). But that may be because it reminds me of School Days. Whereas Chizuru’s boobs remind me of, well… fat yaoi fangirls, to be perfectly honest.

    Unfortunately, none of the fansubbers are confident enough in their sexuality to pick this up. Or, for that matter, Library War either.

Umm… :razz: I thought the animation was pretty upbeat and happy looking((with the endless amounts of flowers and teddy bears… :mad: )) but as soon as the opening theme played and 3 PAIRS of guys appear..I knew what this was..((I thought the first 10 second thing was just that THAT guy was gay..not anyone else))

    Turned out to be D-E-A-D wrong. but this show makes me laugh, and I’ll continue to watch it((not necessarily for THAT intended reason..I love humor! :wink: :razz: ))

    That was great. I was snickering throughout the whole episode. The best part was in the eyecatch at the very end where Misaki is diving towards the WC and there’s the sound of a toilet flushing. :lol:
