Itazura na Kiss - 02
Man this
episode was so great! I was sitting there going “this show just got even more awesome.” So anyway living with Naoki continues and he continues to be a big faggot who deserves to be nice boated (cause hey he’s voiced by Makoto’s seiyuu its all good!) He tells Kotoko to stay away from him at school and that no one must know of their life together. Kotoko also discovers from his mom (who has always wanted a daughter obviously) that just as a certain other shoujo manga hero, Naoki remembers something after only hearing it once.
One night while Kotoko is studying, Naoki’s mom brings her some treats - something she always wanted to do but couldn’t because Naoki never studied lol. She then showed Kotoko some albums of when Naoki was a child…except he looked like a girl because his mom always dressed him up in girly outfits. 
Yea she really wanted a daughter as you can see. His mom tells Kotoko to keep it a secret but Kotoko decides to use it as some juicy blackmail material.
So the next day in school when they exchange lunches (because their mom mixed it up) Kotoko reveals her secret to Naoki: I got a photo of you looking like a little bitch and I’m not afraid to use it!! So she basically forces him to help her study for the exam. She promised she’d return the photo at the end. All her friends can’t believe the 2 of them were talking and they think that the 2 of them are “getting together”.
So the studying commences, and while they study, Naoki’s mom pops in every once in a while and snaps photos of them together. (Does this woman have cameras of all size or what? ) After the studying ends the exam day comes, for some miraculous reason, every sample question Naoki had Kotoko practice on happens to be on the exam. Needless to say Naoki scores 1st place as usual but Kotoko manages to make it into the top 50 (as number 50 of course.)
She also opens a “luck charm” envelope Naoki’s mom gave her and in it are photos that she took of the two of them studying/sleeping. Everyone around her sees it and that kansaiben dude even passes out haha. 
All of a sudden Naoki bursts into her classroom demanding she comes with him. He shows her a poster that someome drew & put up on the public bulletin board showing Naoki & Kotoko “living together” lmao. He then rages and crumples up the poster telling her to stay out of his life. Lol you fag you’ll give in soon.

Tch, now you made me want to start watching this series again. If only to see Naoki’s face when he was being blackmailed.
If I was in Kotoko’s place I would have made him my bitch, as payback for being a jerk.
You know there is a drama of this anime. And there is also a second part to the drama. It’s pretty good!
I woulda made him my bitch too but she’s a poor shoujo heroine who’s in love with him no matter how much of a wanker he is
I heard it’s a Chinese drama, I’m not much into C-drama though…I guess mainly cause I don’t know what anyone is saying XD
There is a chinese drama but there’s also a japanese drama. I haven’t seen the japanese drama but I did see the chinese one which I thought was awesome. The anime from ep 1 at least seems to be quite close to that, so I guess that was and the anime probably will be a very close adaptation of the manga. Anyway if it does continue on like the chinese drama, I can say for sure that this will definitely sate your appetite for some romanceyness. I almost exploded with those fanboy feelings during certain points of the drama and I’ll be watching the anime just to relive those memories. There’s a few scenes much later on that I particularly want to watch again.

Tried the first episode a couple of days back. Glad I looked past the artwork and gave this a go, since it turned out to be better than I thought. Nana Mizuki voicing Kotoko had nothing to do with it. Honest.

He is not going to warm up to her any time soon.
I mean a very long time.
He does not want to give in to all the pressure from the three adults to settle down and have a baby with her because he wants to strike out on his own.
There is a lot of story. I mean high school->college->marriage->baby + there was still supposed to be more until her(author) untimely death
They will need to have at least 52 episodes.
I loved this episode
Mizuki Nana really makes Kotoko’s character comes to life and Naoki’s mother rocks! Just watch, next episode, she’ll pull out an even larger camera with a telescopic lens 
I’m kinda saddened they kept one of Kotoko’s wacky ’90s hairstyles for the next episode though
Oh! There’s an anime now, huh? Interesting.
I saw both dramas of Itazura na kiss, or as the Cdrama calls it: It Started With A Kiss.
After watching those both (although I only saw half of the Cdrama one because I never really like watching what I can’t understand even with subtitles), I still can’t understand why Kotoko is so sticky with Naoki.
So, so sticky.

There’s no way they can get to the ending of the manga in 24 eps, is there? That would be faster than 1 vol per ep

I can’t stand the artwork, but the plot is really interesting. I need to somehow overcome this issue and watch this!!

Now that I think about it, the writers will have to come up with an ending for the series, since the manga was never completed.
I see that Kotoko has some Spartan blood in her, she only acts like a block head to deceive that arrogant ass Naoki, only to make some cutting gesture to prove that he is merely a child. Naoki is going down, hehe
The sad old story of a sweet, pretty girl who’s in love with a very pretty jerk.
I guess what they say is true, “People are more forgiving of your shortcomings (i.e. being an ass) if you’re damn good looking.”
If Nao-chan wasn’t so pretty Kotoko would not put with his crap. She’d have kicked her infantile crush to the curb and moved on. However, we wouldn’t have Itazura no Kiss at all now would we?

Checked out the first epi, it was okay. The artwork looks kinda old (¬_¬) I tried checking out the manga too but something just stopped me from reading it… F-r-e-a-k-y.

Although Naoki is being a jerk now, he’ll eventually fall for her, hopefully…lols can’t wait for the next episode!
