Junjou RoMANtica 01 - Surprise Buttsecks!

In the DVD version, this scene will be brightly lit.

Well what did you expect? It’s a yaoi/BL anime based on a yaoi BL manga. It reminds me of Gravitation a lot because at first the protagonist is like “I DON’T LOVE MEN” then he suddenly realizes he wants some in his butt and so we get a BL anime. Actually in this one it took him this realization the moment he saw his brother marrying a big boobed chick…brother complex anyone? :twisted: Also it has man kissing, but that’s to be expected.

I actually found it to be amusing, but mostly because I got to spam アッー　クマー（・(ｪ)・)　and (*’д`*)ハァハァ comments on NicoNico. :lol: I don’t know of any brave soul who will actively blog this show but surely there is a closet yaoi fangirl amongst us that could pick it up? :twisted:

Also, I did watch Toshokan Sensou but it was so ridiculous I couldn’t get into it. What is it about this show that could possibly interest women of my age? I mean I dig the romance but romance + war (in a library at that)? Yuck.

Edit: Hmm come to think of it I did blog this show and this show…maybe I should increase my BL blogging archive :twisted: Poll time!

    Tch, first time watching something yaoi and my sister walks in on me, on the worst possible part. :mad:
    Definitely, not watching it.
    For some reason I liked Toshokan Sensou, so I’ll keep watching it. :razz:

Ironically enough I’ve also watched Sukisho, Princess Princess & Gakuen Heaven (I even blogged it here lol) Come to think of it I don’t know why I’m not blogging it…maybe because I’d make fun of it so much all the yaoi fangirls would flame me :twisted:

    The manga for Junjou Romantica is really great, but I’m not a huge fan of the main couple. Misaki never likes sex ever ever! It’s annoying because they have sex a lot in Romantica. :twisted: But the 2nd couple that shows up will make the animu for me. They are so sweet. :cry: :cry: I’m kind of worried it’s going to look like cheapo porn though. There has yet to ever be a really good BL anime.

    Library Wars might sound rather ridiculous (it’s not in a library, but more of information) but it is actually just over-dramatizing a philosophy in which information becomes a rare commodity when it’s supposed to be non-scarce in nature. that results in using information as a form of social control. In a tyrannic government that wishes to implant fear, that is the best method.

    It’s just a world that might actually happen in the future, but it’s hardly unlikely ^^.

    Or maybe they want to turn you into a yaoi fangirl who likes to hit other people with a wooden oar. :shock:

    Ironically enough, most American FYGs anyway seem to be happier putting straight characters gay than gay characters gay. I mean look at how popular Naruto yaoi is compared to Princess Princess or Sukisho o_o

    I finally watched the first episode of this show, just for kicks. The only other BL anime I watched was Gravitation, and I quickly decided that I don’t like yaoi or shounen-ai AT ALL. This episode was kind of amusing though… I was laughing all the time.
    PS: Is this where your pedobear joke comes from? :twisted:
