Da Capo II Second Season - 01

we’re back with another 13 episodes of Da Crapo season 2. Everyone was concerned that I wasn’t picking up the fanservicy shows to flame, but that’s because I was saving my seasonal grill for this show! Since we know that season 1 ended on a shitty note, season 2 doesn’t start out any different. The ending of episode 1 somewhat intrigued me though so this show will be added to my Saturday line up. P.S. Yume is still a bitch.
The show of course begins with Yoshidouchebag having a dream of being double-teamed by Yume and Otome. He grabs Otome’s boob and as a punishment they poke him to death. He’s awakened because Sakura places a hot can of coffee on his boner nose to get him to wake up. The one bizarro thing that I noticed is all of a sudden it looks like he and the Asakura sisters suddenly live in different houses. Am I having a brain fart or didn’t they all live under 1 roof in season 1? What happened here?
The story of the week is the “Christmas Party” which they pick on doing a puppet show rather than a haunted house. Ah well a puppet show is something fresh, rather than a play or haunted house which you see in every other show anyway. For some reason Koko and Yoshidouchebag are set as the lead “puppets”. What I guess I find strange is they seem to be like studying their lines but if they’re doing a puppet show, can’t they just read them behind the clothed table thing?
As usual Yume is a bitch. It seemed to me that this episode was focusing more on bringing Yoshiyuki and Otome closer and making Yume look like a third wheel. (Are heroines voiced by Horie Yui doomed to lose in Da Capo? lol) At the end after Asakuras leave Yoshi’s house, there’s focus on the sakura tree and a focus on Otome. They then show Sakura in a serious business mode with her hand touching the tree.
So based on that I’m guessing either Yoshiyuki will end up with no one, or with Otome. People who played the game, no spoilers (even though I kinda read wikipedia already I’m mentally trying to forget it for a better viewing experience.) In regards to the OP and ED, they’re pretty blah to me as usual. The only OP and Eds of Da Capo I ever liked was the original “Sakurasaku mirai koi yume” and the 2nd ending of it by Coo Rie title forgotten though. I guess overall the best aspect of DC II SS? I didn’t see a single sign of Amatsu. So at least I only have 1 bitch to deal with this time around. Let’s hope it stays that way.

I think they lived in different houses in the first season. The houses were directly next door to each other, of course, but they were different houses nonetheless.
That said, I remember being confused about who lived in which house. Initially, it seemed like Yoshiyuki lived in Sakura’s house (the old one), but later in the series, it seemed like he lived in Jun’ichi and Nemu’s old house (the newer one). I would think Yume and Otome would be living in the newer house, however, given that they’re Jun’ichi and Nemu’s granddaughters, and I would expect Yoshiyuki to be living in Sakura’s house, given the origin of his character.
I think the second ED for the first season of Da Capo was called Sonzai, ditto loved that song too.

AAAAAAH! Reading this entry reminded me that I spoiled this story for me already! Shoot… I need to forget quickly.
well… it’s the return of the sakura tree horror.. so i think it might be worth watching this time.. after all, the first season was godly untill i had to rewatch it 4 times in a row till im happy
let’s juz hope we dun end up seeing a onegai twins in this series.. or well.. i think hino might bang her head on the computer table

They lived in different houses in season one as well, but Yoshiyuki went over to the Asakura´s every day to have dinner since as we all know the Da Capo main character can´t cook for themselves but they have to have girls cooking for them.
With this I have yet another show to watch
Lucky me. I do agree with that Minatsu sucked in the first season.
manga> I know she’s supposed to be tsundere, but I have to see her dere side. I really dislike her character, she’s always being obnoxious to Yoshiyuki regardless of what he does. I know it’s jealousy but at least Otome is acting maturely about it.
I’m a Nanaka fan.. BUT I will be very satisfied if Yoshifaggot ends up with Otome. Otome is nice, compared to a certain someone back in DC II >.>
Btw, this opening reminds me of Yu yu hakasho for some reason.
