Shugo Chara - 25

A little early but here’s this week’s Shugo Chara! Ok this was a great episode and I’m not just saying it because it followed the manga. The manga scene only took like 4-5 pages while the anime stretched it to 24 minutes. Despite that, I still enjoyed it and I guess the best part is we got to watch some character interaction for once rather than seeing Amu defeating some X-egg of the week. Anyway this week focuses on our favorite trap: Nadeshiko!

So as I mentioned in my manga post on this, Nagihiko reveals himself to Amu as Nadeshiko’s “twin brother” who lives far away but comes to visit once in a while. Before I go into that at the beginning the reason Amu goes to Nadeshiko’s house is because when she is asked what guy she “wants to be with forever” she suddenly thinks of Tadase, Ikuto and Kuukai. LOL Kuukai (Is this a preset for next week’s episode?)

I liked Ikuto’s line “stop picking that little boy and go with me” lmao. :twisted: Anyway when she comes to Nadeshiko’s house and is greeted by Nagihiko, he grabs Amu’s hand and runs off with her to the “En Musubi Jinja” (the Eternal Bind Shrine where you can wish to be with so and so forever.) The anime team made sure Amu went dokidoki over Nagihiko, which is fine with me, I support AmuNagi pairing. (He’s coming back in Volume 7!!)

In the end the anime reveals that Nagihiko must dress as a girl in order to perfect the Kabuki dance thing and that’s why he’s going to Europe to learn better dancing. He goes without saying goodbye to Amu officially, but Amu gets a note from “Nadeshiko” and it says that she will come back in a “form Amu will not recognize” (lulz) and that’s basically what I mentioned above. I’m not sure how long and how many fillers it’ll be before we see this…but I guess pretty soon we’re gonna see Rima and the other guy. Hopefully they can get the story moving, although I’d imagine if they only have 2 volumes (+some manga chapters) to work with, we’re bound to see fillers coming back.

P.S. I can has Ikuto + Amu in the tea cup ride? :sad:

Upcoming Attractions: Kuukai graduates and leaves Amu too. Oh noes her harem is shrinking!

    wah~!!! im glad that this one follows the manga better than the other episodes!! sounds like it was a good epi! now i kno to watch epi 25 :smile: cuz i just skip all the filler episodes cuz i see no point in seein them :mad:

    This episode was full of THE TRAP. It was a really good episode too *___* Good animation.

    … and I love episode 26 so much :3.. but the animation was lacking :cry:

    Need sub now. AmuxNagihiko almost Yuri DO WANT any obstruction to Tadase is welcome in my book. Heck if they are willing to bait us in a kiddie show who knows what can be next, screw the teacup teleport Ikuto to Amu’s bedo now… :twisted:

    I am so confused… What do you mean by “A little early but here’s this week’s Shugo Chara!”
    Do you mean “A little late but here’s last week’s Shugo Chara?” The raw for Episode 26, the episode that airs on April 5th in Japan this week, is already available now.

    Looks like I was downloading the raws from someone who was a week behind woops. I stopped keeping track because of all the fillers. I’m getting 26 now, will have a post about it later.
