Persona -Trinity Soul- 13
Well I
skipped last week due to disappointment that the Shin/Kanaru scene didn’t really have a continuation. However last week we basically discovered that “the one behind it all” is some half dead (or maybe zombie) old fart who’s trying to keep himself alive on personas but why those idiotic kids are following this old geezer is beyond me. I mean don’t they have better things to do than obey orders of some 200 year old pedophile? Also, it appears that random girl with feathers who’s been appearing in random places…is like his grand daughter (or maybe daughter?) or something.
This week started out pretty slow like it always does but the “unusual” part was how Ryo was being extra nice to Shin and Jun. Also tsundere shota Jun is cute.
Ryo even said he’d attend “parents” day for Jun ..but of course he ended up breaking his promise. Eiko even wanted to try to follow Ryo because he was acting weird by sticking a GPS in his car seat. Well she couldn’t fool him because he took the GPS and gave it to Shin to return to her.
Anyway eventually Ryo ended up on a snowy mountain fighting another image version of the old geezer and his persona. Well that must be damn handy for the old fart. He just sits in his stupid underground hideout allday and projects himself all over the place and can fight with his persona real time! On the other hand though, why doesn’t he project himself in a cool way like standing up right and all..why does he continue projecting himself as a weak old fart.
Also for a weak old fart his persona is pretty strong. So strong that because Ryo got distracted hearing Eiko yelling his name, he got stabbed right through the stomach? chest? Something. I didn’t think much would come of it, and at some point I thought Eiko would just find Ryo dead…but somehow he wasn’t dead, and while she ran up to him, she got stabbed as well.
Poor Eiko-neechan. So the episode basically ends with Jun magically being able to sense Eiko dying as well as Ryo screaming his lungs out. I was disappointed, I know Koyasu can do better screams than that.
In other news I browsed the Persona official site and it has some nifty new features! First they have some 4komas which are pretty cute and fun to read. Next they have a little desktop widget featuring either Shin, Jun or Ryo. I don’t know what the point of it is other than you can basically use it to put sticky notes all over your desktop :P. You can also add this widget to your blog…which if you scroll all the way down you will see that I have
I think I’ll keep it up there until the series ends ^^.
Upcoming Attractions: Despite what happened this week the preview makes it seem like everything’s hunky dory.

“due to disappointment that the Shin/Kanaru scene didn’t really have a continuation”

I agree, that was such an awesome cliffhanger and in the end it was explain.
BTW, isn’t the ero-jiji the same as the man who operated on Jun and Yuki 10 years ago? They kinda look the same…
That’s a cute widget. Now I want one.
Scheris> Is it? I can’t recall the Jun/Yuki operation scene. I thought he’s just some crazy old geezer trying to revive his daughter or whatever she is
Jesus, I was rooting for Ryou and Eiko.
This entire episode was one gigantic HOLY FUCK
Ah, I’m still looking forward to next week’s episode, though, if only to find out why everyone seems so damn happy.
The scene was a flashback, during last week’s epi, and it showed the man that was going to operate of Jun/Yuki and today in the photo in the erojiji’s room the man in the photo looked kinda similar, they were even wearing the same red shirt… But I don’t know I might be wrong
Scheris> You know come to think of it you MAY be right…I think I did hear him mentioning something about Jun to the old geezer but I had no idea how Jun was related…or maybe that was to Shin. LOL persona is such a brain frier
Ee> Yes at the end I was like oh god, oh god no don’t tell me she’s gonna…oh good god
I know, but I think that’s what makes this a good series, at least for me.
just finished watching this ep today, and I should say Koyasu’s scream is sooo GAYYYY
…Eiko’s death is a real shocker though… =__=”’
and about the jiji… I think he is that same person in the operation room o_O I should pay more attention to the random characters popping out in the scenes o_o
I think from all the episodes so far, I like episode 13 xD
It was just full of information and it wasn’t as slow paced as usual.
Yes that crazy old zombie looks like the person who operated Jun and Yuki! I wonder what he wants from Jun… Maybe he wants Jun to help his daughter? Heal her? o.o
Heh Ryou’s scream was indeed gay
But think of it more realistically: an injured man who’s persona killed a woman that he loved/liked. He must be in a real shock. That’s why his scream sounded so badly, because it was all his emotions just bunched and clogged up in his heart and he needs to let it all out
Basically he went insane. Poor Ryou.
Poor Jun too, because he feels the pain of his brother and the death of Eiko
