Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - 25 (Finale)

my god Madhouse what have you done! 
It seemed like they were trying to make that Neuro vs Sai thing from the manga but they added so many stupid elements that trying to pull themselves out of their poop hole was pretty much impossible at this point. This post will contain manga spoilers and rants so click at your own risk.
So yea Madhouse thought it was a great idea to give Sai a mom. LOL wtf. Sai is an experiment clone thing made out of Six, but I guess that doesn’t matter since Six never appears in the anime anyway. I mean if they’re gonna leave it on an open ended ending…why even bother creating a “conclusive” story. Oh and if by conclusive they think using a Deus Ex Machina is a great idea they need to get their head checked.
They totally did this with Trigun now that I think about it. Vash goes to fight knives, Meryl thinks he’s done for, and at the end he comes back victorious. Same thing happened here. Neuro acts all fucking heroic and noble to “close the door to hell” which I have no freaking idea whose ass they pulled that plotline out of, and then he magically comes back in the last 5 minutes of the show.
Oh and speaking of pulling things out of asses, how about that “I’m going to stay by Sai’s side” crap outta Yako’s cake hole? LOL even after Sai’s like magically “Oh yea I killed your dad lulz” she’s all like “oh noes I think Sai is turning human, I must take care of him!” I never hated Anime Yako more than I did after that scene. 
Also what ever happened to Ai? LOL they never showed her dying so……loop hole?
I mean as much as I love the crack pairing of Neuro and Yako, when the anime tries to make it cannon it’s kinda weird. Even Kanae’s little line of “Stop eating and get a man!” and not too soon after Neuro comes back. Look Yako, your boyfriend is back! Oh and Sai? Yea he ran away. LOL well at least they didn’t make it so ridiculous that he suddenly became this nice shota pet of Yako’s or something. Oh wait I know why he ran away, he didn’t wanna cockblock between Yako & Neuro cause he didn’t wanna get another lavender plant poked through his stomach.
Sigh. Sometimes I wonder had I not read the manga would I have enjoyed the ending more? Or would I have been pissed off afterwards reading it going “wtf happened in the anime?” I wonder what non-manga readers are thinking? Hell I wonder what people in Japan are thinking, especially the hard core Neuro fans must be writing hate mail to Madhouse or something. 
Ah well I’m off to read chapter 150 - didn’t get a chance to this weekend.

The little sponsor-screen “vs” doodle was awesome and then the rest of the episode plummetted down a cliff into the depths of terrible. The amount of planning and care Madhouse put into the anime is especially noticable in the final ending credits, where the camera pans across the main characters hanging out with characters who were never even introduced in the anime.
In other news chapter 150 had an interestingly random cliffhanger.
Blank> I havent read it yet I will though after my KimiNozo post. I like how Madhouse seemed like they wanted to follow the manga but someone there was like NO you do MY storyline I don’t care if it make no sense or something. I never really liked Madhouse much anyway. I think the only work they’re famous for is Card Captor Sakura.
Also I will prolly follow the Neuro manga and do some posts on it once in a while. So this isn’t the last Neuro on this blog!
Still pumped for the manga…at least till it ends. Then I’ll be excited for whatever Matsui does next.
And yet another great manga is destroyed by a plot the writers pulled out of their rears.
The only thing I fully enjoyed from the anime was Neuro’s seiyuu, I love that delicious voice.
BTW, please do post about the manga, I can’t have enough of it.
this is wad happens when the anime director trys to animate the manga without even bothering to understand wad the manga was about and he juz randombly flood in wad he thinks of the manga into the anime and.. VUA LA…u have a whole episodes of crap of screwed things.. u know?.. seriously… guys have u ever wondered when they make animes out of mangas do they even bother to read the manga or understand it at all????
The way Japanese business works is they have to do what 1 guy says….even if what the guy is saying is stupid as hell. I have a feeling that’s what goes on in Madhouse

And Sai as Yakos shota pet? Sounds like a screawed up filler with chibies and demons!
And is it just me or are they almost hinting that they’re pairing up Yako with EVERYBODY with a d*ck? First it’s Neuro( the “canon” yeah right…), Godai (ummm…), Sasazuka (reminds me more of a parantal relationship…), higuchi (may happen) and Sai (may never happen. Period)
Haha yea really they do pair her up with everyone. The Sai was a real kicker for me though
Oh yeah?I think the end wasn’t bad at all….Marissa’s right.The anime version pairing up Yako with ALL DUDE on this.
MADHOUSE make Neuro anime as a SEINEN (many boy/girl pairing with one girl/boy)…..not a SHONEN just like the manga version….. 
But the part like Sai dying on Yako’s arm it’s really happend in the manga, isn’t it? (or it would be, since I have not read the latest chapter yet) Just like I predicted it before…
Is YakoXNeuro cannonic??I thought that SasazukaXYako was cannonic….
Even though I only read the manga up to chapter 14, the anime ending was indeed disappointing and sorta cheesy to me.
I dont disagree for the sake of disagreeing, but that’s the ending I was HOPING for.

The beginning of the anime was pretty good, but then the anime started to decline after HAL arc… just a bunch of fillers to the end. I like how it tried really hard to emphasize NeuroxYako, and it was interesting that Yako is hinted to like Higuchi, Neuro, and Sasazuka (That’s because I find those pairings cute..XD) But unfortunately, Madhouse is really MAD for making the anime end on a bad note. Now less ppl will want to read the manga and there’ll be less fanfics with canon pairings.
well..i haven´t seen the last chap or read the manga but i know many animes that were totally messed up from manga…but i think i´ll have to check out the manga too…i was accually waiting neuro to die and also to sai to die…well you can´t always get what you hope for..
Well it seems that everyone have different views on the anime, and I respect that.
And I know. The ending was pretty crappy and cheesy. But hey, you can’t always get what you hope for.
I just hope they make an OVA of Neuro. And hopefully it may follow the storyline of the manga.
And those parings of Yako… I guess it’s common for us to pair one girl with alot of guys today… umm… yeah…
