Anime Karaoke CM with my favorite seiyuu spotted on CDTV!
I was watching CDTV this evening and I spotted an interesting commercial that I uploaded for you guys to see:
Pretty creative if you ask me, especially that “Touka Koukan” pun thing (if you haven’t watched Full Metal Alchemist I guess it’s not as funny xD). It was pretty surprising as I pretty much never see anime related commercials unless I’m watching an anime related program. Also, Sen no Kaze ni Natte is still in the top 50…after 2 years. Wtf

i really liked to watch tv in japan, wasting time watching commercials cos they`re really different from the ones i`m used to watch
i`m from brazil, so most of the commercials i see here have some sexual conotation(the interesting ones) but lol, for me, japanese cms were like 40% lame, 30% funny and the rest were not intended for puns (cosmetics/department/institutional). also, they dont rly use the comic/perverted combination, so it was rly amusing =)
on your area, commercials are like this too? ^_^
on the anime cm topic:
i used to see band single CMs around the anime screening time on open tv but none like this one heh(animax and such 70% of the time is used for anime cms, but most of them were pretty common)
it was either the anime promo or the op/ed single CM. not funny puns
btw, regardless of being funny, seeing from time to time the promo of darker than black made me interested in watching it after returning from there. /o/

I don’t really watch US TV anymore but I feel like I see the exact same commercials in the morning for the last 3 months (this one stupid one for Empire Flooring is on like EVERY morning!!)
OH! I saw that too quite awhile back, but I was too lazy to rip it out and write about it. I found it rather interesting but gay since only 3 male anime characters were talking. Where’s the hot females?!
