Comments on: Clannad - 22 (Finale….or something)

I thought of CLANNAD as a great anime, before I get the chance to play the Visual Novel. The anime was too focused on Nagisa (I personally dislike Nagisa, and I don’t mean to offend her fan), but they did pretty well in Fuuko and Kotomi arcs, and Nagisa arc’s well compares to the Novel. It’s just too unfair that Tomoyo and Kyou-Ryou don’t even have a “proper” route, I mean, at least something “understandable” for someone who haven’t played the game (not the way they dumped the whole Tomoyo’s arc in to a 25-minutes-including-OP which seems extremely silly and wtf for people who played through Tomoyo’s route. Come on, she deserves more than an episode coming out of nowhere…). The show was really good for about the first sixteen episodes, then it started going down the hill. I’m still waiting for the After Story, but so far I’m pretty dissapointed ^ ^.

Well yeah but with all the arc interweaving I kind of expected something like this :p
(The comedy in Clannad is a miss for me though…but the special has me giggling)

anyway. The Special should make you squeel like a fangirl…or not.

I think the problem is they spent too much time on stupid comedy to build up anything between Nagisa & Tomoya ^^; I mean in the game Tomoya was supposed to confess like 5 episodes ago…

Seen it quite a while now but it’s still a great ep!
I’m actually glad they didn’t kiss. It’s unlike them to kiss after a confession. Keep that for Clannad ~After Story~ (second season)
I’m a NagisaxTomoya supporter. A quite a fangirl of this pair but I don’t want to see the relationship get rushed. I want build up and it’s there but I guess people can’t wait that much? Clannad hasn’t really began yet imo and so was Nagisa’s and Tomoya’s relationship. (just started going to the real deal) We will see more in the 2nd season for sure 8D

Can’t wait for the broadcast date already!
I pray that there isn’t a uber long wait… @__@

Other than the fact that Nagisa really did get the short of the stick in both screen time and interaction with Tomoya, the episode itself was rather briliant.

But it’s still a pretty good ending, in its own way… Why Sunohara!?

damn right its a automatic fail
no kiss = no praise
thats just how it goes and I might even say that kimikiss was better
but kyoani just does bad endings. for kanon and this show. I just don’t get it.
their resemblence is far too great
Kyo ani must get their endings done right.
otherwise, there back to the drawing board for Haruhi
ok I might have been harsh on the no praise thing
The things im prasing for this show were its nice comedy moments. Sunohara’s major ownage and the incredible bgm like the basketball scene or the gym scene. but overall its was just another failure. I hope the other two episodes are 100% better and at least one kiss for god’s sake

Tomoya & Sunohara deep love appeals to me greatly. Though I love me some Nagisa. Shame she got the shaft. I hope they do some justice to the after story, if they do it. I want some kissing damn it.

I heard that the After Story is a major part of Clannad. Without it the story wouldn’t be complete right? Maybe, just possibly KyoAni might animate that, not that I am complaining. It was an OK ending. A kiss at the end would of been sweet.
