Tsubasa Chronicles -Tokyo Revelations- 03
So I think 
this is the last of the Tsubasa ovas that we’re going to see. That’s a shame because the story is really good and they wasted all of season 2 on absolute crap. I’m also sad to say that while the story is good I can’t see myself constantly buying this manga so I sold the volumes I had to Book Off this past weekend. The scanlated magazine chapters were way ahead of my books so I just read those instead. The OVA was pretty good as usual, great animation and all. It sorta went downhill for me though the moment Card Captor Sakura showed up ^^; Also it’s hard to take Sakura’s efforts seriously knowing that…she’s not the real Sakura. (What is it with Clamp and cloning? Are they on an Evangelion high?)

Yea I know, I figured most people who watch this probably read the manga anyway…otherwise going from like TV series to this wouldn’t make any sense anyway
maybe it’s juz because u watch the show too long ago… but remeber they said different world but same face…. same face but different personality??
still… some ppl said this ova turn out to be the darkest part for tsubasa… which means they still didt read the manga…. wait till the find out about fye’s past… btw… the tv series follows the manga soo… doest really matter 
but they all still share the same soul..
no way the 2nd tv series followed the manga during those BUS chronicles
I don’t like CLAMP. I enjoyed Card Captors but then I watched Tsubasa Chronicles, saw the clones and the same sorta plot-line, and didn’t like it. I was so shocked when I watched Code Geass cos I thought CLAMP made it, but they actually just drew the pictures, which were nice. But what’s with them and making girls with pink hair? What happened to the redheads?

reading the tsubasa and xxxholic manga it does feel like they are scraping the barrel now. The endless amount of clones and parts that require knowledge of the complete clamp back catalogue are getting irritating and the time loop thing clow country’s going through doesn’t sound promising. Also where the hell is xxxholic going with the whole little girl thing, the loss of memory part was cool if a little emolicious but this part doesn’t seem very relevant when tsubasa is starting what appears to be its final climax.

I just want the story to END! When Tsubasa Chronicle started, I had no idea it would be sooo long and the action sooo slow!
Yeah, the cameo appearance of Cardcaptor Sakura really killed the fun for me. xD I think I’m turning evil, cause while Sakura fell and got hurt searching for that “thing”, I just thought “Serves you right for being so useless this far!”. And I wish she would pay more attention to this Syaoran instead of the eye-eating one.

xxxholic new season is out soon should be good
TC does my nut in as its too tributey for my liking(like the van helsing movie) and it made me read rg veda which bored me plus i wish kurogane would just screw fai/fay! prefer xxxholic as charcter wise, i like yuuko and watanuki in xxxholic while i like like just yuuko in TC.
all i can say is wtf

I’ve heard that on the manga where the CCS Sakura showed up was suppose to be the souls of people who died in that city. It would make sense if she was one of them. Also, I am not sure if this is true, but wouldn’t the CCS Sakura be the strongest magical girl out there after getting all the cards? So it be possible to project herself and save herself from another dimension? Anyway, I am thinking too much on that, the OVA was great! I would like to read the manga though.
All I’m going to say is…this CCSakura is cuter than the original CCS.

I was an avid CCS and Tsubasa anime fan, but once I started watching the OVAs, I was completely lost. I guess the manga would help out, but now I’m just ticked with the plot. Why is Sakura (Tsubasa) such a pathetic character, and why is she focused on eye-eating Syaoran? The CCS Sakura cameo was sooooo random. And weird. And pretty much ruined it for me.
ARGH. I don’t really like the OVA’s, because it seems like although the series was happy, they ended it on a flat, depressed note. Not only did Syaoran (fake) go and eat Fai’s eye (Which was disturbing), but Fay turned into a vampire, and Sakura was no longer… I dunno. Innocent, I guess. It just felt so wrong, with the lack of humor and that which is happy…. T__T
Just to inform people the reason ccs appears in the ova and not the manga is they wanted at explain how she knew which way was the right way to travel and good news for all xXxholic and tsubasa chronicles fans the will be a two part crossover ova out this coming febuary (one with the volume of xXxholic the other with tsubasa) will progress the storys possible to an anime only ending (this is because of the incident with madhouse and clamp about fansubbing (for full details cheack my post in the tsubasa filler chronicles topic))

on another note the ova’s were darker and lacked humour because tokyo revelations arc was made dark to fit in with the manga more as well as it’s the post battle world of X as well as it was a major plot line as to why whats happening is happening (there should have been more mokona apperances)
