New York Comic Con Cosplay Dilemma
In case you guys didn’t know I’ll be going to the New York Comic Con on Saturday only though (mainly to see TMR concert in a squishy room 
) I figured a con is an excuse to cosplay (*is a cosplay addict like Ohno) but I’m trying to save money for various things so have to be pretty cheap this time. So while I was reading Katekyou Hitman Reborn! today I thought of a fairly cheap but doable cosplay both JP & I could do:
Would this work? I mean hell I recall seeing a Mukuro cosplayer at New York Anime Festival o_o; Our original plans were to do Nougami Neuro and Yako but we didn’t wanna spend like $80+ to get a goofy looking blue suit that could never really be used again. At least for the Reborn cosplay I pretty much have everything and we don’t need to spend money on wigs. The downer? Well no one would really be able to recognize us without a Reborn group…but I doubt that cosplaying as Neuro anyone would recognize us in the first place. 
Thoughts anyone?

This is a much better idea than when I was supposed to go to Otakon dressed as the yaranaika guy.

the show is just awesome, so why not cosplay?
its better than spending tons of money when you can save it to buy stuff at the con right? n____n
haha more like im saving money for my wedding and honeymoon next year
Hmmmm, spend money on the honeymoon or cosplay? Quite a predicament for an otaku couple
Personally, I’d save up for the honeymooon 
I think the real question is, why the heck do you want to see TMR live?? XD

Actually if you don’t come to Comic Con you may not see me for a while because at the way things are looking I may be skipping Anime Next.
I’d go with Kyon/Haruhi anyway…
But are anime cons the only place I can see you…..?
thinking on haruhi, you could always go with a bunny girl costume and say youre mikuru or the afformentioned crack in the space-time continuum/technological singularity/god. Kyons not that hard to do either so youre set.

Well, NY is having Asia Week right now (actually three weeks this year).
The Asia Society has an exhibition of ukiyo-e (part 1 through march 30)
and the Met has a show on Chinese painting. I don’t know if you and jp are into classical East Asian art though… XD
So jp is going as the girl?

I think you’ve picked a fine choice, and if done properly it won’t look too “frugal” at all.
And if you go with the $80 blue suit, just sell it on Ebay. Just make sure the page is in Spanish. It will sale quickly.
