H2O ~Blindness in the Sand~ 11
Well 
in the better of today’s shows I was actually really impressed with the outcome. Aside from all the corny Evangelion jokes that you can make (Congratulations Hirose! *claps hands) this week really did solve a few “loose” ends that have been bugging me ever since the series began. So while getting senselessly beaten and (and like seriously asking to get raped) Hayami eventually got choked by one of the goons. Ironically enough Yui came to her rescue and then ran to Hotaru’s house and let her know about this as well.
Hirose who tried to find Hayami then snapped again the moment he saw her and began beating at her too. (Seriously how does she survive all these beatings? 
) She tells him that he should take out his rage on her and not hold back. Anyway after Hayami gets bandaged up at Hirose’s house and Hirose wakes up from his insanity he realizes….he’s blind again. Well it turns out he was never able to see to begin with (wtf??)
So while apparently to us viewers it appeared as if he gained sight overnight, to everyone else around him he was still as blind as a bat. This doesn’t explain how the hell he did all those things like diving into the water, peeking on Hayami, taking Hotaru accross the bridge…..perhaps it was all in his head and never actually happened. It was like one huge acid trip man! So after that bastard old fart basically blames it all on Hayami, she decides to voluntarily leave the village.
But of course that cursed old fart isn’t satisfied until she’s DEAD so he sends 2 of his goons with rifles to kill her. Since they don’t have the balls to shoot a bishoujo, the old fart grabs the rifle and shoots himself. Luckily for Hayami, Hirose somehow blindly gropes his way to where she is and stops the old man from killing anyone. He still appears to be blind so it must have been dumb luck or Hirose has some kind of 6th sense or something.
The most bizarro part is at the end when Hirose says “I’m going to protect…MY MOTHER!” Aww come on kid, I know you’re blind but there’s a difference between a high school girl and a milf! 
Hopefully that’ll be explained next week.

I take it there is insufficient Hamaji here… Just like Happiness towards the end when the Jun factor was zippo…
I’d say it’s a good bet that Hamaji isn’t gonna really be showing up much aside from the usual side chara role for the rest of the series.

What was up with the destined/promised one thingy that hotaru/hayami went on about and why did the old coot try and set up hoatru with hirose when hirsoe’s family is as poor as sin compared to hotaru’s?
Did anyone got tired of the repeat sequence of how Hirose’s mom gets runned over by the train over and over again?
And what’s Hinata (or Otoha) was doing there in that specific sequence going all serious?
And about Hirose standing up against the old geezer (though by luck and still blind), that’s a lot of “cajones” to do that to protect Hayami, even though Hirose said that he will protect his mother. Dunno why he said that? Mom-con? Perhaps.
Let’s hope that Kamisama will be dusting the old fart’s hot seat for judgment, right after what “padfoot135″ had said.

Damn… That episode just “ripped my heart to bits” watching Takuma go all delusional. I got a bad feeling that he’s going to revenge his mum though as he was like “I’ll be the one to protect.. MY MUM!!” and then it looks as if he’s going to snatch the rifle. =/ Hopefully it won’t end up like that but the same feeling tells me that he tries to shoot Hayami but Hotaru will come in and take the shot and then Takuma gains his vision again and then realises what he’s done and lives with Hayami or something like that. Let’s just hope it really is a happy ending though and not a bloody one like above or anything worse as I’m a sucker for happy endings.
