Naruto -Shippuuden- 269 and Chapter 392
So this 
week in the anime world Naruto wastes time by bitching at Kabuto and Kabuto fights some bees. Afterwards they run into Oro’s hideout to open up every room inside to find Sasuke. We had the usual line of Sasooke flashbacks as well as random staring scenes and scenes of a lizard thing eating a sliced bee. That was lovely but I couldn’t actually watch through it. It actually took me about 6-7 minutes to scroll through the entire thing. It looks like next week they will focus on Sai’s stupid picture book and probably add flashbacks, more stares and more CG’ed walls.
In the manga world…you thought their fight was over?? Well you were WRONG!! BWAHAHAHAH!! 
And in order to prolong the idiotic battle Super Wang Orochimaru ™ shows up.
This reminds me of those spam ads I get in my mailbox that say “Turn your grass snake into an anaconda.”
But S.W.Orochimaru’s attempt at the spotlight is foiled with like 1 slice of Itachi’s Soosaaanoooooo (whatever the hell name that is)
And now it’s “the end of the line” for Sasuke. I coulda sworn it was the end of the line for Sasuke like 5 chapters ago. Geez I don’t care who wins anymore, can we stop DBZing this whole thing?

bit shocked by the susanoo . Thought it would be a sasuke jutsu(lighting/strom) but with itachi Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi it makes sense plus he can’t hog everything. awesome, orochimaru coming back has perked me up for 2 mins then im down now since he’s gone!
the anime tricked me as 30 secs in kabuto came and did some intestering things then i was treated to iguana filler! seriously peeved! and was sais book this prominent in the manga?
now that I think about it, they still haven’t reached where the first episode started, which is like over a year ago. And next week is 20 min looking at Sai’s bingo book?
I, for one, liked this chapter. I didn’t see a thing coming an there were enough twists to make it quick and interesting. Makes me long for the days when the anime tied things up in 2 or 3 episodes.
Don’t get me wrong, I am missing Naruto and the gang as well, but this is the most interesting Sauske story in a long while for me. Plus I want to get back to Hinata. I don’t care if she’s only in one panel, I wants the panel.
Plus, trying to remember back, didn’t Hebi go after Sauske? Meaning they are currently looking for him? Whatever happens, I’m hoping it stays exciting.
Super Wang Orochimaru ™, Grass Snake/Anaconda. It is too early in the morning to laugh that hard.
Apparently Susa-no-O is from Japanese folklore, like a bunch of the stuff in Naruto. He was some dude who killed some giant multi-headed snake and found the Sword of Kusanagi in its belly.
Oh, but before that happened he asked a girl to marry him and then turned her into a hairbrush! (??! o_O)
So Itachi’s jutsu has ended and his eyes haven’t reverted to normal. Is it just me, or does anyone else think Itachi is totally blind now? It would be a really stupid way to end the fight with Itachi stumbling around because he can’t find Sasuke to take his eyes.
This chapter is awesome as pure funny entertainment.
It utterly fails as far as epic battles go, however.
I am becoming more fond of Zetsu, though. He’s doing a great job playing “Greek chorus.”
Does anyone seriously believe Sasuke is going to die next week? I see that Kishi is trying to create one climactic moment after another but since I’m sick and tired of ridiculous Uchihas it’s just like, who cares? This whole fight reminds me of the Trinity death scene in the Matrix. Just die already, someone.
Decent animation for the brief Kabuto fight makes me wonder who makes the decisions on where to spend the apparently limited animation dollars. And why not extend the fight by like, having them fight each other? Why go with fighting BEES?

Zetsu’s “Orchimaru sure is freaking gross” line definitely was comedy gold.
The Kabuto fight was insignificant in the manga and really wasn’t too drawn out in the anime either - they just needed to show that Sai changed rather than have a drawn out fight. But the fight in the anime WAS well animated. That’s what makes no sense. They create an entire full filler episode out of the ridiculous Team Guy Clone fight, and the animation quality is poo. Here they have a 2 minute fight that consists of Naruto sucking, Sakura throwing a punch, and then Kabuto fighting bees
and whip out some really great animation (for Shippuden anyway). If they have limited animation money, why waste it on this? Now I have a bad feeling that Naruto cutting a waterfall will be super high quality while Asuma vs the Zombie Twins will make me want to gouge out my eyes.
If you re-read that line out of context it’s incredibly hillarious yet pathetically accurate of Naruto Shippuuden.
Kishi just looooves to “entertain” us with “entertaining” twists.
… hopefully, it’s really the end this time.
i have a few questions
1) did naruto learn any jutsu while training with jiraya?
he still only depends on clones and rasegan (not even mastered!) after 3 years with jiraya, that’s it!
sasugay got some serious jutsu from oro
the fox-cloak is obeviously not a new learned technic ( he’s even rejecting it)
2) if he’s destined to become hokage shouldnt he start developing some high level jutsu?
if u watched the 4th hokage, jiraya, oro, kakashi, itachi, kisame battles (even the now overpowered sasugay) u understand how nasty a hokage is required to be
he seriously better use the fox if anyone catch him 1 on 1
3) where is he?
i believe (and hope) sasuke will die cos that’s the only way kishi can forget him and focus on naruto becoming hokage.
this stroy will proceed like this:
” …not being able to save sasuke, naruto realizes that he sux! So he decided to……………. the end ”

Actually, I think there might be some significance to of this chapter to the story. Does anyone find it weird that Itachi seemed to be waiting for Sasuke to drain his chakra and let Orochimaru out so he could seal him away, thus effectively removing Orochimaru from Sasuke’s body?
Could have some translation error, but Itachi was saying how Orochimaru finally appeared, making it sound as though he had been waiting for this very moment since the beginning of the battle.

The Jiraiya arc kinda implied he spent 3 years trying to figure out how to use some crazy jutsu that requires using all of the Kyuubi chakra. And I guess technically the Rasenshriken is the most powerful move when it hits…
Pretty sure that Itachi was trying to drain out Sasuke’s chakra so that he could take Sasuke’s eyes without Sasuke killing him.
Naruto sucking… I wonder if, in your mind, Sakura’s punch is a Tsundere moment or a Yandere one… guess it depends on who Naruto’s attentions are on?

Haha yeah she’s definitely Tsundere… but what I meant was if it’s NarutoxSakura = Tsundere, but NarutoxSasuke = Yandere… and for who?!?!
Okay, so, I just want both Uchihas to die. RIGHT NOW.
Seriously. I still can’t get over that panel of Itachi screaming “I want your eyeballs!!!”…I don’t know how Kishi can do that to us…After that, I don’t think anything can surprise me more than that. Maybe Sasuke even will say something like “Naruto I really DID care for you brother”

Anime^borrring. I downloaded the epi, wached first 2 minutes, got bored and deleted it. That’s really enough for me.
I don’t wanna waste my bandthwidth on crap….Are you still gonna blog this?? Coz Ill just keep reading it….:) and maybe if there is gonna be an interesting epi, THEN get it or sth…..

I don’t really mind who dies … I like Itachi and Sasuke the same. If Sasuke were to die, I’m just wondering what Naruto would do, including Sakura. And Itachi … ? Well, he can go spawn Madara for all I care.
