That was disappointing. They throw in a filler of Pooko, but they cut out a romantic scene between Nagisa & Tomoya. I hate you Kyoani. 
(I will admit the Nagisa family past thing was handled pretty well though.)

Maybe they are saving it for a dramatic conclusion to the season since the end of Nagisa’s non-After Story arc isn’t really dramatic or anything.

Nagisa and Tomoya’s relationship is almost turning out to be a bad episode of Kimikiss.

So the Nagisa-family thing is done well, eh? At least there’s something to look forward to… I still weep over Tomoyo and Kyou’s loss.

I think this is probably the best of the Fuuko appearances, cutting out that beginning “Fuuko appears!” animation thing.
Also, pissed, they cut out their first kiss during the picnic! Rest of the episode was good, and Yukine setting Okazaki up with the spell was awesome. There is also more Akio awesomeness (best character!).
Yea that Fuuko animation is especially annoying so I guess I’m thankful they cut it out - although they could have done without her period

Mmmm I don’t think I cried at the end of that arc. Although perhaps the memory of that was dwarfed by the mess I became during and after the first After Story run through.
The Fuko wasn’t bad, it was short and actually kind of funny.
There is no Clannad anime.
GodDAMN Tomoya is slow. You’d think by now, with all the obvious hints from everyone around him (including Nagisa herself), he’d, you know, catch on to the fact that he’s in love with an adorable girl who loves him too. And then they can get to all the making out that everyone (minus the Kyou/Tomoyo fanboys) desperately want to see.
That said, I loved the picnic scene.
“Did you fall in love?”
“Ha-”
“Oh shit, my daughter’s in love with this guy?”
(Aiko shouldn’t complain too much - Nagisa’s damn lucky to have Tomoya.)

I still remember your post where you said that you cried a lot during Nagisa’s ending. So, is something really sad going to happen next or were they simply tears of happiness?
I think most of my tears were of sadness not happiness.
Although honestly I am so disappointed at how Clannad was handled.
I was looking forward to it so much but I feel after Kotomi and Fuuko’s arcs all hell broke loose of some sort.
I honestly thing Air and Kanon were far more superior as adaptations while Clannad is becoming a mess. :/ I don’t expect to be crying anytime soon in the anime because they’ve already ruined the mood multiple times for me
Well I understand after Kyoani messed up 4 episodes this is the best they can do for this scene, and it’s not all that bad but you know…
I mean the game’s was like WHOA THAT WAS GOOD!…no wrong it was
WHOA THAT WAS GODDLY!!!!!
And then the anime…one of my favourite scenes…
Because I don’t live in a normal family Clannad’s Nagisa route really touched me. I took 6 days to get through Nagisa’s route and I cried AT LEAST once on each one of those 6 days I am not kidding. That’s how far it touched me.
And the anime…without the kiss is ok…ish…but where’s my hand-holding competition. That was one of the greatest parts…and I can poke holes in Sunohara’s logic as well as kick Tomoya to the moon for leaving in the anime, but in the game it was different. I could understand why Tomoya would want to leave, and Sunohara said it so much better.
Of course we didn’t have Nagisa’s “If Tomoya-kun was here I could always do my best.” in the anime…but….
I mean with so many of the good dialogues missing from the game and those two not going out, I understand this is the best they can do…but you know…..
Sometimes I feel like dropping the anime and just go back and play the game again. If I wasn’t playing Little Busters! I would do exactly that.

And ok I admit that the family scenes wasn’t messed up, but well done…
BUT
we haven’t got to the REALLY important ones yet.
And if I remember right the other-word should be further. They shoud’ve started trying to build a plane. But it’s not that baddly done.

LOL still remember in Fuuko’s route. For those of you who didn’t play the game, that bread is like instant poison. Deadly too.
Seems kyoani knows how to make people laugh, but don’t know how to make people cry. Key knows how to do both, and why kyoani decides to copy key’s jokes but not its main theme events, you get Clannad.

For some reason I can’t remember that, I think watching all the pooko appearances has clouded my memory
It’s when Tomoya just got back and found Nagisa in the park looking for him.
And Tomoya said to Nagisa no matter how much she like him, he likes her more.
And then Nagisa said all these things she’s feeling. And then said “But that’s impossible.”
Tomoya then said “Let’s have a competition and see. We’ll hold hands. The first person to let go looses and likes the other person less.”
And they just sat there in the park holding hands until Akio came and pulled them apart.
That scene was so good.
I remember that scene as Akio coming over to pull them apart but failing to do so because they were holding on to each other’s hand so strongly. He eventually gave up and went to play baseball with the kids. N+T sat and watched him until they both realised it wasn’t necessary to hold hands anymore, since they knew each other’s feelings. So they let their hands drop, and kissed.
Wonderful scene. So ordinary, yet so romantic and powerful at the same time. My second favourite scene from the game.
Not to be picky or anything FF, but Akio succeeded in pulling them apart. So they called it a tie. (And Tomoya was just happy he was able to give some confidence to Nagisa
) And then Akio went to play ball. And then Tomoya held hand again and Nagisa asked him if it was rematch and he said it’s nothing to do with rematch (he just want to hold hands) and then they kissed.
AAAAAAAaaaaaah that was so good.
Its been years since I played the game and my memory’s pretty poor, cheers for the reminder

I still hold out hope that they can somehow work a variant of this into the extra episode. Or even make it the ending scene to ep 22, if the anime doesn’t make it to the graduation scene.
