Naruto -Shippuuden- 268 and Chapter 391
This 
week Naruto has diarrhea so he uses the powers of Pepto Bismol to get back in shape…er (*inhales deep breath) I mean Naruto, Yamato and Sakura question Sai’s motives in Oro’s base. Sai makes up some bullcrap about how he’s following Danzo’s orders to destroy Konoha and then they tie him up with wooden boners outside the cave. Sai then tells Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke’s ass (for buttsecks) because he’s more interested in hanging (and doing) Orochimaru (and maybe Kabuto for kicks & giggles.) Also in the omake all the NaruSaku communities are squealing over a 1 second pan of Naruto holding a bunch of shopping bags for Sakura. (*exhales)
Also if you’re keeping up with the manga (or maybe you aren’t) this week just when you thought Sasuke would kill Itachi with his ultimate move that sounds like a brand name of a Japanese beer (Kirin), Itachi pulled another move out of his buttARSEnal and supposedly he will use “that super bullshit no jutsu” next week and hopefully conclude this stupid endless arc.
I highly doubt Sasuke is going to lose mainly because if you couldn’t tell by now, [this is where my computer freezes and I more angrier than Sasuke] the actual name of this manga is “Sasuke” not Naruto, that was clearly some sort of editor mistake during post production.

lol….i actually held off watching this week’s episode to read your post on it. you know…just to gauge the BS-level….and i guess it’s still at an all time high.
(un)fortunately, i’m pretty used to it. somehow i don’t even bother getting all whiny anymore. ha.
haha I barely even watched the episode. I kept scrolling through cause I just couldn’t take the eye staring anymore
Gratuitous Flashbacks? Check
Nothing really happening? Check
Wangst? Check
Ridiculously long shots of poorly animated faces lost in contemplation? Check
They actually had a decent use of a flashback explaining the Village of the Mist training though… I’m sure you skipped it though
Next week will probably be 5 minutes of Sai-Naruto bonding/angst and 15 minutes of running past the same walls and screaming into doors so I’m sure that will be another winner of an episode 
The Uchiha experience is just pulling out one BS jutsu after another, but you should at least look forward to a world that will soon be cleansed of at least one more Uchiha. And then Naruto and the 7 dwarves vs yet another overpowered Uchiha! I’ll be predicting that Hinata confesses and then dies during that arc, only to be “comforted” by Sakura… if that happens I know you at least will once again be looking forward to reading Sasu… er Naruto.

hmmm… super bullshit no jutsu? Sounds like a Hanna Barbera ’super hero’ saturday morning rerun from the 60’s. “I’ll just use my super-one-of-a-kind-giant-member move on that guy” “Oh, yeah, well you didn’t stop to think about my super-thingy-exploitation-mammy-jammy”. That being said, you can only have one super-jutsu follow another for so long before it becomes one-dimensional toddler trash. Ick.
That last Itachi move… grrr! I thought he was out of chakra too. At least it made sense why Sasuke could use his last move with no chakra (he had been studying science all this time).

Well Naruto does have one thing going for him. If Sasuke kills Itachi then Naruto will be the undisputed #1 in Wangst.
Maan, the episode was boring, slow, full of staring and the whole “tsunagari” crap…I seriously think Sai can be annoying at times, BUT compared to Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, Orochimaru, Kabuto and shit, the rest of the cast, Sai is like the best character in the world.
As for manga, I am tired of this fight, and not because it is not as amazing and exciting as i thought it would be, I just think I waited for it for so loong, so that now, I don’t care anymore. I just wish one Uchiha dies now, and then the second dies too. I certainly do not wanna see them in the “Happy ending”. C’mon, Kishimoto-sensei, show me the main character already, for ****’s sake!
Anyways, I am so disapointed with both manga and anime lately, I am not sure if I can take this crap anymore…But then, I have been reading manga for so long, I don’t wanna just drop it.
I guess I will be hoping for a miracle.

See, up to this point I was really enjoying this arc in the manga. Sure it basically protected Sasuke-hime from becoming redundant after Itachi bites it, and sure it’s all painfully predictable, but… I’ve just really enjoyed it. I think storming through the whole volume in one (more or less) makes it less tedious.
But I agree, this chapter really took the piss with the anti-climax. You’d think /controlling the weather/ would be enough, but no. This is DBZ territory we’re getting into now, and for all its faults Naruto (the manga - the anime has always been pish in my opinion) has never succumb to that kind of padding.
Hopefully Itachi will actually die next chapter. God knows what Kishimoto will do with Sasuke once that happens. He’s made it pretty clear that the status-quo between him and Naruto can’t be restored, so I say Madara will die and Sasuke will join Akatsuki after Pain interferes with him somehow and the final-final showdown will be Sasuke and Naruto.
For the first time since the first season, I have not downloaded the Anime, and there is a 48% chance I might not.
As for the manga, I was actually shocked Sauske didn’t finish him off. I’m actually interested in Itachi’s technique. It’s been drilled hard that Sauske is out of chakra so I’m assuming someone’s going to come save him. Either Hebi or Naruto+. Who knows, but at least I’m still interested.
[a horrible thought of Kabuto using the DBZ dragonballs to bring Orochimaru back to life so he can rescue Sasuke just crossed my mind...]

For both the anime AND the manga to drag things out like this, you would think there was a common motivator behind it. Perhaps the story _is_ winding down, and at the danger of angering fans, they are producing as many episodes and issues as possible with what little story-line is left. I think Hinano almost said the same thing a few times.
Does anyone think that the producers/writers/publishers read any of the blogs?
This manga arc seems long cuz no one likes sasuke including me, but in reality I think it hasn’t been that long comparing it to jaraiya’s arc, but I hope it ends in the next two chapters, I’m getting tired of watching everyone showing their techniques and naruto only showing his stupid rasengan, I won’t even bother commenting about the anime.

i just cant do single posts for naruto anime anymore since its so slow. i figure at least a combo is somewhat motivational
