H2O ~Kissing in the Sand~ - 09
I know
should be all happy because there’s kissing but I haven’t really attached myself to anybody in this show lol. I couldn’t care less if Hirose was making out with Hotaru or Hayami (or even Hamaji 
) I think the more important focus was probably the little tidbit about Hirose’s mom …who committed suicide when he was little. He found a bell that she left for him but apparently giving some girl a bell in this town means you like her (kinda how girls give guys chocolates for Valentine’s Day.) While the animation was better than usual this week, I still feel kinda meh towards the whole thing. It was more interesting watching a train wreck, but now everyone’s all lovey dovey and shit and I’m all like meh. 
It’s kinda like if School Days ended with Makoto and Kotonoha living happily ever after.
I guess the only exciting thing was when they burned Hayami’s place and she ended up living with Hirose. I don’t trust his old man, he seems to be getting brainwashed by that kusojiji. I hope he drowns lol, Hotaru should kill him with some sort of yandere tool.

Takuma has now kissed all 3 girls - but since Hinata took herself out of the running and Otoha isn’t human, I suppose Hayami is the only one left standing.
I don’t think Takuma ever considered Hinata seriously but Otoha would’ve had a very good chance if she hadn’t died. Looks like Hayami’s position is unassailable but only as long as Takuma remains in the earthly realm… we shall see.
Episode 10 will see the height of the troubles between Hinata’s grandfather, Hayami, and Takuma. Much of this ugliness could’ve been avoided if Otoha had lived, but that would’ve turned the show into Magical Otoha instead of H2O - it remains to be seen whether there will be a spinoff.

Yeah, I was wondering why Hirose’s uncle, or whoever is related to him, is hanging around with the old fart bag (Hotaru’s grandpa) probably plotting something evil against Hayami with the other idiots.
And did anyone caught the preview of the next episode at the very end? I think it was funny, BUT! it could be very significant.
There is something about that moon in the captured screenshot: If you stare at the center of the moon, the moon seems to expand slowly.
Or is it just me?

I ended up watching this week’s episode, and it was certainly an “awwwwww” moment at the end. Hayami’s character design is kinda ugly and the animation quality is weak, but I’m all for tsunderes like her.
OK, I’ve watched the subbed version and I was like “wooooott???”
What’s with the old geezer saying that not make a huge fuss about the fire and Hayami’s presence? And when Hayami runs pass by him, he is like so this is karma, huh?
I believe that the former could be a red herring (he still might have a plan to get rid of Hayami).
