Umm what? Can someone remind me if this was an old chapter in the manga? I have a feeling I remember some sort of an arc about someone who kept stealing faces, but I can’t recall if there was a kyuubi. Either way, it must have happened early on before the Denshi Drug HAL incident was resolved so if this really WAS in the manga what the fuck are the writers thinking putting this in AFTERwards? :mad: The arc that I thought this was gonna be was with that erojiji and the little girl - because the guy in it sorta looks like the guy in that arc. I guess I was wrong. Also how come Yako’s school uniform is the only pink one while everyone else’s is the manga color? :???:

I think the biggest WTF moment for me was at the end when Sasazuka said that Yako’s “father incident” had some “new light shed on it” and it involved her mother who’s in another country. WTF?!? I’m afraid to even ask where they’re going with this b/s considering Yako’s dad incident got resolved after like the first 4 chapters :mad: On a happier note, I’m reading the weekly shounen jump scans (along with Naruto) so even when the anime ends, I’ll keep covering the manga (but not on a weekly basis. Only when something worth mentioning comes up.)

    …and this is why I keep reading the manga but I have the anime on backlog since ep 3. Btw, how many episodes are scheduled?

    Extrange> I think 26? If you’re up to date with the manga, watching the anime is going to be very difficult for you at this point. At least I was like half way through the anime before I caught up with the manga :shock:

    This was awful filler through and through. :cry:
    (The face-stealing thing didn’t come up till later)

    And yeah, I have NO CLUE where Madhouse is trying to take this. I really like the manga, but at this point I’m only watching the anime to see what kind of trainwreck it turns out to be.

    Maybe someone will salvage it as an OVA one day? :sad:

    Aah yappari. Yea I’m so disappointed. Although I honestly can’t say that Madhouse’s new works have been nearly as good as their old stuff (CCS, Trigun) :cry:

    If they don’t do the other X fight, I’ll be very disappointed in Madhouse… :evil:

    As for the facestealing, it only happened once, and it wasn’t part of case….
