The Bastardization of the Hamburger Man

When I think of Ronald McDonald what comes to mind are all those McDonalds Happy Meal commercials with Ronald and his big furry suit friends and a bunch of lolis and shotas begging him for toys and fries. In Japan, the McDonalds commercials refer to Happy Meals as “Happy Sets” and Ronald is referred to as “Donald”. (I guess it would be a pain for them to say ロナルド-ミクドナルド.) For some reason though, the Japanese Ronald says “RAN RAN RUUU” a lot and because of this it has turned into a meme on niconico.

Recently NicoNico’s been going through the Caramell Dansen phase and needless to say Ronald (or should I say Donald?) was included in the insanity. The result produced an incredibly addictive song that can be used as a good exercise video, or in my case I really want it to be my cell phone ring tone. :lol:
