A Weeaboo Valentine.
So in the spirit of non Singles Awareness Day posts (don’t flame me guys 
) I decided to do it the weeaboo way this year.
You know all those ice cream parfaits you always see the girls eating in eroges? Well I decided to try one myself at “Hiroko’s Place” in SOHO.
JP was actually hungry so he ordered himself a “fuwafuwa omuraisu” (or fluffy rice omelet). I had a taste of it, and while it was pretty good the REAL reason I came to this place was……BEHOLD:
I wanted to eat a fucking ice cream parfait!! 
To be honest, there’s no other place that makes them like this as pathetic as that sounds. I mean you’ll get your 20 scoop ice cream sundaes and maybe a banana split, but the closest thing you can get is maybe some overpriced fruit cup at Pinkberry.
As far as the place? I dunno - I expected it to be restauranty/cafeish but it ended up being like some kind of a lounge. 
It was kinda awkward at first but the Japanese girls working there had some old lady come and give us “complimentary service” ice cream daifukus and told me “Happy Valentine”. So at least they were pleasant. They even had a bookshelf with manga on it, although I doubt anyone (except weeaboos of course) would be shameless enough to grab one and read it. Would I go back again? Maybe - but perhaps to bring over a weeaboo friend to show it to them, rather than because I wanted to have another ice cream parfait.
