Wow that was absolutely Amazing! I can’t believe how awesome of a story Neuro is turning out to be! I know it started out as ridiculous fodder, but that fodder is totally justified by this entire arc. I’m actually catching up in the manga, I’m on this arc in the manga as well and now I’m really looking forward to reading more chapters. Wow just wow I’m so glad I decided to stick with this series, it was all worth it. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Here’s a brief rundown of this week’s episode.

So the helicopter Yako, Neuro & Godai were in god blown but Neuro used his tools as usual to get them out. He had Godai successfully infiltrate the base and destroy the super computer with his baseball bat. This helped Neuro get through the Sphinx barriers. Following that Yako input the password that ended being correct which destroyed the final wall between Neuro and HAL. HAL didn’t give up without a fight though - although I wish we would have seen more of it.

The Denshi Drug people started attacking the room Neuro and Yako were in and just as they finally broke in - they stopped moving, because that’s when Neuro finally defeated HAL and they sorta went into limbo. Neuro was SO FUCKIN HAPPY HE ATE HIS MYSTERY that he ran out like a wildman leaving a confused Yako and a really badly damaged HAL in the computer screen.

In the 2nd half we saw a flashback of Harukawa Professor and one of his former patients named Setsuna. The password was her name I believe. She was the first case he saw of the “insanity” thing which we basically witnessed in the first few episodes of this series. She seems normal at first, but then goes out of control due to a part of her brain signaling her to do so - kinda how the Denshi Drug works. Harukawa professor tried all he can to help her but in the end he wasn unable to, and eventually she died.

After this incident he became a mad scientist with the hopes to bring her back to life. (Hmm where have I seen that before?) Create her “from scratch”. Unfortunately this would take years upon years to do, so in order to have unlimited amount of time, he created a virtual persona of himself to be able to do his experiments with the Denshi Drug!

At the end he asked Yako to erase him as well as activate the “vaccine” program that would stop all the people from being Denshi Drug zombies. Yako began crying saying she couldn’t do it, but she did it in the end anyway. Eventually Neuro showed up with a half dead Godai and began to poke Yako while she was crying. This next scene was pretty awesome when Yako slapped his hand away yelling that he wouldn’t understand. About time she did this, I think in the anime they make it seem like she’s in love with Neuro lol.

Well Neuro does show his care in very strange ways (like instead of hugging and comforting her, he sticks her by the neck on to the ceiling and doesn’t let go. LOL. At the end of the episode Yako is standing on a bridge and X and Ai walk by her. Also Higuchi handed in his resignation letter, but the chief dude crumpled it up saying Yako requested that Higuchi be kept on the force. (Can I ship HiguYako? xD )

Dunno what’s coming next week but people speculate something about X. I’m off to read the manga!
