I AM 
FULL OF FANGIRL RAGE. You know I actually enjoyed this filler despite them twisting everything around and adding a really annoying loli. However, I’m annoyed to no end at what they have done to Ikuto’s character. He went from being a cute teasing cat boy, to this serious business emo dickhead. What the hell!? Why has his personality been wiped off the face of this anime? Also what the hell is the deal with Tadase suddenly liking Amu as herself? I don’t recall (up to volume 5 anyway) him actually having any interest in her outside her Amulet Heart transformation 
Also where is my eroneko! 
My guess is this show has to be kid friendly so no eroneko Ikuto’s allowed but ugh that’s what made it the best part of the manga!! Now he’s this emo dude “where’s my thanks I just flew down for you” and like super tsuntsun Amu with her “It wasn’t THAT big of a deal”. Also what happened to the scene where he himself tried to poke Amu’s lock with his key and it ended up not fitting?? I was hoping so badly that they’d have that scene but I guess we won’t ever be seeing that in this watered down rendition. 
*Sigh. I also miss Tadase’s gay looking outfit. He actually looked normal in this episode. 
Upcoming Attractions: I don’t even think I’m gonna watch next week’s episode. It’s a filler about Amu’s parents - I couldn’t care less.

Gar. I was pleased with the IkutoxAmu this episode, but I was not amused by what they did to his character. What happened to his playfulness and teasing? Now its like- Blah. no pervvy stuff
The animation was also pretty iffy this episode, Ikuto looked so off-model when he was rescuing Amu >.>
But But but, the good thing is that the anime seems to be getting back on track with the manga’s first arc starting episode 21.
Ninja> That means we have to sit through another 3 episodes of filler

Can I have the H-doujinshis instead?
Tadase is clearly lying, Amu-chan will see through his deception in due course.
As for this kid friendly Ikuto, well let’s just hope Amu-chan can make him a man and turn this useless emo personality to the Ikuto we all know and like. Hopefully the next filler will impart one life lesson to Amu-chan, that dolts like Tadase aren’t worth keeping. Still Amu-chan makes it all bearable, at least Ikuto didn’t get cut out entirely. Still cold comfort..

But, from the comments I’ve read so far I shouldn’t get my hopes up?
I went dokidoki at the AmuxIkuto moments, but bleh… overall it won’t live up to the manga, as expecteed…
on the other hand, volume 6 is coming out this March! something to look forward to!
The Sasuke and Itachi vibe must be spreading to other anime

about the “kid friendly” thing check on the early episodes they showed some perverted stuff there but then they switched to kid friendly…

Everyone’s like OMG NOOOO!! on Shugo Chara now. AND OMG NOT THE KAMICHAMA KARIN FILLER SAGA NOOOO!! I stopped at episode 13. Seems like I made a good choice
Hinano - Now that I’ve had a chance to watch episode 18 I’m going to do something that I haven’t done in a long time - I’m bailing out on the series although I’m this far into it. I’ll leave it to you to let the rest of us know if it ever improves.
BTW - I wonder if the last scene with the little brat where she was rubbing her face against Tadase’s crotch was intentionally done that way as a joke (or as a protest) by the animators … LOL

if you get fed up enough with the anime to show us how it really went down…And if there going kid friendly then they might as well shut the anime down cause Im sure alot of people like Ikuto in the manga more than the anime anyway….

I somehow have faith that they will bring the “key” scene into the anime at some point, but this episode annoyed me too. Anything with Amu and the prince I just skip over.

oh and Hinano, don’t get too excited over volume 6… it still lacks Amu x Ikuto moments. But you’ll get to see other “moments” instead (not with Tadase, thankfully) ^-^

you guys shouldn’t worry! it wasn’t a official date thing like the manga it’s until that guy who fills the position of the jacks chair comes into the manga (which is way waaaaay later on), so this was another filler no worries!
well ikuto might come to change again to his pervy neko character during the procedure of the anime (actually come to think of it, he has two separate personailties when he merges with yoru, yoru is more outpoken than ikuto’s personality as a quiet emo like guy, so when he chara changes his personailty does aswell like tadase’s ‘i will rule the world!!!’ complex personilty xD wth?) they actually followed the story up to the latest eppi at the mo, when nakaido stole the eggs and ended up getting sue, then amu has to rescue her along with her two remaining chara’s, (ooooh we get to see ikuto’s uniform in this one! <3333) so good so far, it’s follwing up to the manga, but remember the anime is limited to 51 episodes so theres not much room T=T-booo- hopefully they might squeeze the manga’s amuto moment better thus far, so no worries, don’t get yor hopes down even tho it’s aimed at a younger audience XD.
