The only thing that was pleasing was Kazuki finally ditching Futanari-san and perhaps opening up a path for Asuka. You go girl! Poor Yumi.

I kind of noticed when the guy (forgot his name) said that in the movie’s there is going to be a bikini scence and every time the show started you see Mao in a bikini.
She was my favorite until the damned kissed on Koiichi’s forehead.

Wow, couldn’t believe that Mao got bitchier than she already was. I cracked up when I saw the 4koma on your site. Was that at anime club at seperate times or guys before and after the Superbowl?
Ahhhh much rage all around. Now Koiichi is going to emo around for a couple of episodes and it’s going to be bleh. And it seriously messes everything up because until now I really didn’t get any romantic vibes coming from Koiichi toward Mao. I mean the guy worried a lot and thought about her, but it seemed strictly osana najimi to me. That and the fact that Koiichi and Yumi pair up so damn well and are all lovey-dovey…I will rage if it gets screwed up by Mao.
And yeah, Kazuki needs to stay the hell away from Ice Queen and get with Soccer Chick, less drama more love.

I could care less about mao, kouichi and that whole mopey display; all I want to know is if sakino gets her man. I practically skip through most of the episode to see whats happening between aihara and sakino.

Oh come on ! Get a grip ! Mao dumped the eternal pit of neediness kai is and that’s all right. She never had any feelings for him and dated him only to try to overcome her feelings for Kouichi. Well at least forget them.
And yes, Kouichi already has shown there was more between them than a child hood relationship.. I mean the awkward look at Kai and Mao, the never ending worries he kept having about them…. and if you’re dating someone who will move out soon and you leave her during a date to see your “friend” cause “she’s not feeling well and she’s alone”, you should really ask yourself what’s wrong with you !
Hey I’m not defending Koiichi either - I was Koiichi x Mao for maybe the first episode but when I noticed he seemed to have a thing for Yumi that all flew out the window
Well, i can relate. Makes me remember how sad the ending of Ichigo 100% was for me.
Sadly, i don’t think Futami is out of the picture either. So Kimikiss is really not going to end in a good way for a lot of us here (well at least partly for me)
Koiichi, the only correct response is “Sorry, I already have a girlfriend.” Two episodes of him angsting about it and then coming to his sense will be ok… longer than that or worse, making the incorrect decision… of course since when do these kinds of shows end up right?

And then what they do for the next 4 episodes? images of boats in German rivers?
That is the issue, thing have a episode run and there must be pacing … reason why SnS 2nd season started with the wrong foot was because the first episodes were slow and hammering the same point since they had to make 26 episodes and the reason why ZnT 2nd season sucked is they could not animate a entire act so they completely cut it.
That is the issue with this show were everything was off from the start, it lacks comedy or real drama (not prolonged angst) and they tried to force it because they had to fill 26 episodes, they wrong choices and now its all “Mao is a bitch” and who fault is that? … its not the source material but the writers trying to fill out episodes so we got “shoujo romance male lead” (I hated him from the start) as Mao’s romantic “maybe” interest and it collapsed since they had to play the Koiichi x Mao card.

Why do so many people excuse her actions and hate on Kai (talking about you Animesuki forum) though?
I can’t respect a girl who does this to a friend. Yumi is her friend and she got them together FFS. She’s just screwing everything up. FRANCE IS CALLING. 
Good news is I can’t see everything working out for her in only six episodes. Confession, Kouichi suddenly changing his feelings, dumping his girlfriend, and getting with Mao? Nooooooooooooo.
I have a strong sense that Mao is going to get no one at the end!
HAHAHA Cause I think they are going to go with the Non-Typical route.

With all the Futami hate going around here, I’m putting my neck on the chopping block by saying this but I like Eriko, I think she’s cool; she just past issues that caused her emotions to shut down. She just needs a good strong guy like Kazuki to stick by her and help her work through it all. Once she opens up, her love and devotion for him will be stronger than most could even hope for. Furthermore, I think Kazuki sees Asuka more as a sister than a lover, so I just don’t see it happening between them. “Sorry Asuka”
Mao on the other hand is only going to cause some ripples in the relationship between Kouichi and Yumi. Granted, Kouichi may do something stupid in the prrocess, but in the end, I think Mao will go back to France alone.
I actually cheered when Mao confessed! XD

kouchi and ao where problaby just waiting to get paired up i mean in most of the animes i seen is always the best friend of the guy who loves him but he dosent realize it , then she helps him get with the chick he loves but then she gets depressed cuz she lost him then a whole bunch of shyt happens and in the and they get together, this whole anime reminds me of scool days .
futami say something already. shes been bitching about how she doesnt know how she feels for 17 episode and nothing comes out of it. two kisses. yumi and kouiichi got out fine without even kissing. gahh MAO FOR THE LOSE. not win.
Well, Eriko finally reveals a little of her history to Kazuki in Ep 18 so at least we’re beginning to get a clue as to why/how she got this way, but it’s not the whole story yet. The absence of her mother is also key to her situation. She’s already headed down the path of no return. When she started the experiments, her emotions began breaking through even though she doesn’t fully realize it yet or admit it for that matter. I don’t think anyone in Eriko’s situation would have a sudden turn around so I am not surprised that 17 episodes went by without this realization. Remember, it’s only been spring and summer so far, not really long enough for someone in emotional denial to come to grips with unfamiliar feelings. Her time will come soon and she will need Kazuki to help her through it. I am a little disappointed at the lack of Eriko-time in the show so far, it’s been a little too heavy on the Mao-Kouichi-Yumi triangle. It will be interesting to see what kind of catharsis Eriko goes through as her emotions continue to bloom and force their way to the surface; she won’t be able deny them.
I really don’t understand why there’s a Mao hate train going on among most of the fangirls and that a lot of guys have been dragged onboard as well.
It still is a shounen romance, not a shoujo, so you have to expect the childhood friend to have strong feelings for the male lead even over some of the relationships that she may explore with others; its just how it works in the sense that the older females in shounen romances almost always tend to have some kind of “older sibling”-type relationship that eventually morphs into like/love.
At least Mao is straightforward with how she struggles with how she feels towards Kouichi; most female shounen romance females in that kind of situation stay silent until usually its too late, simply because the main dude is too thickheaded to understand anyone’s feelings and the chick usually hates stirring the boat. You also have to give her credit for pulling away from Kai because she can’t really keep dragging him through her feelings pulling her away from him.
I don’t know, I just find it ridiculous that people are expecting Mao to act in a way that’s not really fitting of the character she is, when pretty much everything’s she’s done is true to who she is.
Well, you guys do realize that Mao and Kouichi are going to end up together,right?Tell tale signs are all over the series, I don’t dislike Yumi but it seems like she just doesn’t fit with him.And as the series goes on the relationships built at the beginning of the series are almost gone except for YumixKouichi.

I hope the blablabla experiment etc arc is now over. It doesn’t make any sense from the start (it does IF this is a harem show but I expect kimikiss t float above that lame standard)
I don’t get how you hate the confession scene, imho this episode is quite a progress, at least she finally said it AT the 18th eps; can you imagine what happen if
- kazuki didn’t confirm futami
- kai didn’t tell what happen to his relationship
- mao didn’t confess
the waiting game will last for an entire series till someone wake up and realize there’s only one eps left then everything amazingly solved in second; SFW (ef ~ a tale of memories) or NSFW (nice boat!)
