@Hinano&Ren-san: There is a term, fudanshi（腐男子）and 腐兄(fukei) that mean a BL fanboy. And one more thing, this is a bit controvertial, but there is also a term, 乙男(otomen). This one sounds the best of all, I assume. But otomen features more meanings;

1. a young man who loves shoujo manga, anime, or otome games.
2. a young man who is good at any chores.
3. a young man who is actually so feminine though he is so manly outside.

Otome(乙女) things mean not only BL but shoujo stuff. So even if he is an otomen, it doesn't even necessarily mean he is a BL fan. But sometimes he really is.

@Hinano: lol cute! Or one where he's on leash. I saw that in a bakery once and couldn't stop laughing.

Plus I don't know what happened to my English in the first post. It is my native tongue going back pre-Mayflower. I guess I shouldn't type, talk on my phone, & eat a taco all at once again. :)

I doubt this show will get subbed, so I guess I'll check it out now. I think I'll spot the funny parts easy enough.

Hinano> How about "fudanshi" ? (腐男子)

I've found that term in the Japanese wiki, which the definition is very close what I've mentioned earlier.

Ren> I don't know if there's a male equivalent. I think all male anime fans are just grouped as "otaku" whether they like het or yuri. The problem is with fujoshi, they GENERALLY only like yaoi/BL. Not many female otaku actually like het pairings - of course in the USA that's different since the het pairing is what fuels many rabid fangirls these days.

Sabrina> My cake topper will be a bride dragging the groom by the collar ;D

Hinano: Question.

If "fujoshi" (腐女子) means what I think it means, then is there a Japanese term for the total opposite? (male manga and novel fans featuring romantic relationships between women, implicating Yuri)

I just wrote an essay on Michelangelo's David two weeks ago. Alas it shall eternally haunt me....

Anyways, the drama looks interesting. If I ever get the time to watch it. I dunno this gives me weird vibes of Densha Onna mixed with Yukan Club or something O___O.
