But otomen features more meanings; 1. a young man who loves shoujo manga, anime, or otome games. 2. a young man who is good at any chores. 3. a young man who is actually so feminine though he is so manly outside. Otome(乙女) things mean not only BL but shoujo stuff. So even if he is an otomen, it doesn't even necessarily mean he is a BL fan. But sometimes he really is. @Hinano&Ren-san: There is a term, fudanshi（腐男子）and 腐兄(fukei) that mean a BL fanboy. And one more thing, this is a bit controvertial, but there is also a term, 乙男(otomen).
