Tsubasa Chronicles -Tokyo Revelations- 02

Published by Hinano at 5:06 pm under Tsubasa Chronicles

Man that was pretty damn exciting. When reading the manga I had no idea why there was 2 Shaorans or which one was the good or the bad, but while revisiting this story in anime form it made a lot of things clear for me. So obviously the “evil” Shaoran is a feather capturing machine but he does have all the “omoides” with Sakura. On the other hand, Sakura lost all her memories anyway so now that she’s with the “other” (good) Shaoran, it’s not so bad right? Not like she has any memories with him other than the ones on their feather capturing adventures amirite? Anyone know how long this OVA will be? I mean why couldn’t the TV series be this good? Why did we have to sit through bus chronicles and miss all the awesomeness that the manga had provided!? :(

Only one more ep to go for this OVA, I believe, but the last picture in the ED is from the next manga arc so maybe they’ll do another one. The manga’s gone a bit overboard with the ‘unpredictable’ twists though so I don’t really care anymore ;p

Yea the FAi arc was especially bizarro

I am hoping that if sales are good enough, they will continue finishing off the rest of the arcs with OVAs like this one. That would be really cool if they did that. :)

    @ Karura
I’d say it went way overboard by the time events got towards the end of the Dream World in the Nihon arc. I mean, WTF CLAMP, who are you trying to kid!? Nonetheless, I still love Ohkawa-sensei’s brilliant story writing *biased*. :)

I love how in the last few arcs, kurogane has done nothing but looked stunned and bewildered. Every frame with him in could be accompanied by him saying “WTF!?” :D it nice one of the characters has as little idea what’s going on as we do.

its nice to see him for once like not being able to kick the ass of everything in sight either :P

If you think the Fai ark was crazy.. the current one probably takes it all to date. ^^

Because Bee Train likes to make us bored rather than entertained?

    ‘bus chronicle’ lol
what i love about this episode is it reflect the latest chapters of TRC (i’m not goin into details though)
I thought it’s not as gory as the manga but it turned out fine..i’m hoping next month is now!!

what leaves me a bit puzzled…

i rewatched season 1 to check the story of the two Shaorans out, to know which one is good and which one is bad.

Actually, the original Shaoran (#1) was already sealed at the time that the ‘boy’ machine double whatsoever (#2) was adopted by the archeologist and got to know Sakura. So #1 actually has NO connection to Sakura at all (or one we don’t really know)

Also, #1 already made a deal where he lost his relationship, freedom and time… (with whom, Yuuko the Witch ??) so this means he actually lost not the relationship with Sakura (which only #2 build up and actually had) but another one ???

The story with #2 is strange though… they say he is a feather capturing device so it seems the evil overlord (dont remember his name) had already planned everything out when sealing #1 and creating #2 (even if there was no feathers lost at that time … ??)

i’m really looking forward to the events to come. hope they close the inconsistencies …

  14. Hinano UNITED STATESon 21 Jan 2008 at 9:51 am

i thought the one who made the deal was was #1 xD I though #2 just sorta like float there in the tank all this time

Aaagh, the more I think about this, the more my head hurts, especially with what was revealed in chapters 178-9. Someone just get Fei Wong a comfy chair and a subscription to the movie channels already ;p

  16. mikeon UNITED STATESon 22 Jan 2008 at 7:59 am

clone was made by evil mad guy because evil mad guy could foretell the future so he could make plans ahead just like how the witch and other dream seers can see the future.

  17. kazune all the way MALAYSIAon 22 Jan 2008 at 9:56 am

    @shotty
Fei Wong Reed has planned for the #2 to search for the feathers cuz he intends to scatter them later. He’s the one who scattered them across dimensions cuz he wants Sakura’s memories of crossing dimensions.

  18. Hinano UNITED STATESon 22 Jan 2008 at 10:32 am

AH ok, I had no idea wtf Fei Wong wanted, why the hell did he kill Kurogane’s parents. how the hell is that relevant ?_?

  19. Sabrina-Fair UNITED STATESon 22 Jan 2008 at 12:06 pm

First Ah! My Goddess, now this. :) I can’t express the joy.

  20. kazune all the way MALAYSIAon 23 Jan 2008 at 1:04 am

well, he kills Kurogane’s parents for the purpose so that he would run beserk and ended up serving Tomoyo hime becuz Tomoyo hime is the only one in that world that can send him across space to meet the Witch of Dimensions. Therefore, he would then become Sakura and Syaoran(and Fay)companions in the travels. Why Kurogane? I think he had foreseen that The Clone Syaoran would leave the gang and the Real Syaoran will join them. And he had placed the curse that will make Fay kill Real Syaoran later in the Infinity Arc and then kill himself so maybe he needs Kurogane to keep Sakura safe (or at least her body cuz now we know that her soul is not important)

Since i was too curious about the things to come i read the scanslations of the manga … so… don’t read ahead if u don’t want to be spoilt

    SPOILER

    @kazune all the way:
this clone and soul thingy with sakura is really strange.. syaoran gave half of his heart to the clone with his eye …
but i doubt sakura did something like that… so why does the clone sakura seem like she has a heart? because of the feathers? bah actually the latest twists in the manga were a bit much…

Because Fei Wang cloned both of her heart and body completely, unlike clone Syaoran whose half-heart was given to him by the real Syaoran. Fei Wang did not intend to give the clone Syaoran a heart from the beginning. He just wanted the clone to be his feather gathering machine, so he didn’t care whether clone Syaoran had a heart or not as long as he carried out his mission. For Sakura, it was different. He deliberately cloned her whole heart as well so that the feathers scattered from the clone Sakura has, how you say… Equivalent power/quality as the original Sakura’s. Therefore, even if clone Sakura is killed, he can simply replace her with another clone Sakura over and over again while retaining the feathers that have been collected so far. Heartless b@stard, he is… :/

How convenient… now we have two Sakuras… (cause it seems the clone Sakura is not yet dead completely) one for the clone Syaoran and one for the original one. Noone shall be left unloved … (except Fei Wong, but he’ll probably die at the end and be reunited to his special someone too…)

Man, really don’t get this whole thing. I mean how did Kurogane, Fai and peoples know about #1 Syaoran and #2 Syaoran? This makes no sense. and is tsubasa tokyo revelations season 3? or is it even a season at all? This all is too confusing. Someone help me!!!

  26. huh? CANADAon 14 Apr 2008 at 9:25 pm
