This is SO AWFULLY WRONG!
…
Do you ship international?
キョンくんの顔おもしろいw
Love the backgrounds and Kyon’s expression from this page.
Nemo> I may consider it if my sales at Anime Boston are weak xD This time around I’m taking precaution and I’m only printing like 15 copies as opposed to my 40 that I couldn’t sell last time.
kyon-KUN!?!
i need to see the rest of this doujinshi >.>
Are you one of those super organized people that finish their doujin on schedule or are you one of those crazy pull three all nighters in a row to get it done people? If it were me I know I’d be in that second group.
lol “…c…cute…” It just seems weird in english somehow. xD
super> I’m organized lol I plan to finish this by the end of the month and have it ready in time for the con. I learned my lesson that with printers you gotta be early or you get screwed.
totali> I was thinking “ka..kawaii..” when i wrote this, which sadly doesn’t translate in the same way into English but if I write Kawaii it makes this doujin seem like some kind of weeaboo explosion xD
hm now that i look at it, i think kyon’s immediate reaction is a lil out of character.. i can imagine him going with more of a “h-haruhi!?..” and then going “c-cute” with some apprehension ;D
Haha Totali…isn’t it funny how it doesn’t work as well in a different language idiom?
Translation can be such a bitch sometimes, trying to preserve the nuanced meaning without having it sound completely awkward in the target language. xD
Also Hinano lol @ your “weeaboo explosion” comment. It’s a shame that that kind of Japanese use has such a stigma associated with it, as in an objective sense it really is kind of cool, being able to blur the line between languages from time to time.
Aesir> if you saw the next page I think it would make more sense to you. At this point you can only assume what happened before and after so that’s probably why it seems out of character.
On the other hand, most of this doujinshi is out of character so I don’t think there’s any hope left for in character anyway
0rion> the sad things yaoi fangirls have done to anime fandom. When I go to cons, I’m ashamed to eat pocky. lol
>>it makes this doujin seem like some kind of weeaboo explosion xD
What else is it supposed to be?!
Ik> hehehe I’m sure we’ll see…
[...] seeing Hinano’s doujin in progress and after receiving a spirally-energized “Believe in yourself” mail from Jason, I [...]
Only 15 copies? You should print more than that.
I’m actually printing 20 at this point but that’s max.
When I printed 40 I barely sold anything and I’m sick of lugging around extras. I think 20 is a good amount both at the con and online.
