Naruto -Shippuuden- 262

earlier but I was busy looking through bridal magazines. luls 
So anyways pretty exciting episode this week - well at least it would have been more exciting if we didn’t have a flashback to a scene we saw 2 minutes prior to it. Also I musta seen Oro slither his tongue like 20 times before they finally decided to get on with the fight. They also showed Sakura’s concerned face another 20 times and Sakura and Yamato just sad on that bridge watching all of this progress like they were in some live action movie theatre or something. Again this is something which was supposed to happen quickly, but since it did not, you kinda sit there like “why won’t they get off this broken bridge? Lol”
Upcoming Attractions: SAKURA CRIES FOR NARUTO, Narusaku fans rejoice.

No one’s gonna really know since no one really reads my Naruto posts XD
I’m telling you Hinano, they are trying to milk the Naruto series for all it is worth, however little it is now, compared to the manga. Truly a doomed series, right from the start. That two year filler gap really killed whatever emotions I had left of the show. Guess I should have known from one particular episode of naruto peeing upside down while Ino was looking down, to that episode where naruto and some other ninja had to guard some nameless wretch who made “legendary” pottery. Hinano, I really tried to enjoy it, as I always gave a chance to any show I watched, I really did, but this is really the end of the whole Naruto series in my eyes. The manga is very much superior, both in terms of not dragging things apart, to great action. I am filled with passion, passionate enough that I must write all of this down to express my disgust for whoever had a part in producing Naruto 2: Shippuden Sucks , Part II “ahem, I meant Naruto Shippuden: Hurricane Chronicles”. Aside from that, I do enjoy your posts, very enjoyable to read , you go Hinano :).
Urzu> Haha yea thats why I just post commentary on Naruto. I really do like seeing my favorite scenes “animated in action” but to see the gold I gotta dig (and by dig I mean watch) through the dirt (and by that I mean fillers/useless footage/flashbacks etc.) XD Thanks for the great comment - and I agree, the peeing episode was ridiculous. I think the animators have some sort of bowel fetish because they’ve made multiple fillers dealing with poop pee and well frankly how many times per episode do we see someone’s butt?
_I_ happended to like most of the filler episodes (ducks, runs).
That being said, about half the fillers could’ve gone byby without losing any merit from the entire story line. The ‘Onba’ episode and the (spoiler) one where Naruto ghost-writes Jiraiya’s book were pretty damn funny, especially when we find out later that a) J’s books might as well be about Naruto anyway, and b) J’s writing style is like something a Jr. High kid would write. Thinking of that I’ve considered a possible side-story line where we find out Hinata was reading her father’s copies back when she was at the academy and this is really why she faints whenever she’s around Naruto (subliminal conditioning). I’ll leave the sordid details for some doujinshi artist that jumps on the all-too-obvious NaruHina opportunity.
Anyway comedy notwithstanding, if you shorten the story too much you get fewer episodes to sell advertising for. So expect more cliffhangers, more “extended” fight sequences and bad-guy monologues, yotta yotta yotta. It’s all part of the business.
the action moves so slowly that the battle seems 90% less awesome than it really is. Kinda makes me want to edit the 40-42’s fight scene into one ten minute version.
Naruto the anime reminds me of how when you get a special edition DVD of a movie and it’s like the zomg unrated uncut 5 extra hours of unedited footage edition. And then the more you watch it, the more you appreciate the edits that were made. In short, if the anime were to be edited down to the good stuff, this anime would be awesome. It would also only be a few episodes long, though.
at least they are trying to start the year right somewhat this is hoping for less fillers for this year ^o^

lmao, I think if you watch the Naruto eps in 2x speed (which you can with windows media player) the action seems pretty damn cool! I should try doing that next week or something
Is the marriage thing news? I read it on another board after Christmas. That’s why I made the divorce joke another day. Either way, congrats to you both. I hope it lasts forever.

The thought of a little Hinano in the future does seem very heart-warming, be sure to name your girl Hinano :), and if it is a boy, Jiraiya. Besides that, keep up the great blogging Hinano, I’ve always enjoyed reading your posts. Brings a smile to me whenever I visit your site.
